I've had enough of this guy. He puts his 'client' ahead of the interests of the club at all times and it unsettles all involved. I think Levy needs to make it simple for Berba - its you or your agent mate, but not both.

I have an excellent source inside Chelski but I never normally bother asking her about ITK 'cos who's interested in the Bluescum?
Anyway, she told me a couple of weeks ago that both Drogba and Shev will be leaving in the summer and that Abramovich's number one target is Berbatov. Partly 'cos he's a great player, partly 'cos he's an ideal replacement and partly 'cos he was so pissed off with us beating them in the Carling Cup final, this would be great revenge.
I'm not saying Dimi is definitely going to them but I am saying they definitely want him.
Sorry guys.

Let's face it, it was only a matter of time before Dantchev started stirring it up again. He has done it prior to EVERY transfer window so far.

Having said that, If he's going to go, I'd rather he went to AC Milan than Chelsea, even if the transfer fee was less. We simply cannot afford to let him go to a Premiership team.

Be prepared for lots of speculation over the next 5 months. It's the price we pay for having someone of that quality in our squad.

Linking Berbatov with Milan in his usual roundabout way. I saw this story yesterday morning while there wasn't anything about it on here. Instead of posting it up I treated it with the contempt it deserved and ignored it. It'll just feed the papers once more :sleepy:

If he wants to go, I'd be a lot happier for it to be AC Milan than a PL team. Losing another star player to United or Chelski really wouldn't look good for our CL challenger ambitions. I'd hope Berba would have more class than to go to the chavs too, but then money talks I guess...

Dantchev's constant whoring of Berba in the press is infuriating, the guy is a prick! This statement about Milan reads like a come get me plee imo.

I would say "prick" is an understatement. There is no doubt that his constant stirring upsets the fans and the club but I think it ultimately upsets Berba moreso which clearly affects him on the pitch.

I obviously hope he doesn't go, and part of me believes Ramos is the man who can keep him. I think a lot of it will depend on who Ramos brings in early in the window. Perhaps if the constant David Villa rumours proved true then Berba might fancy staying working with him.........can you imagine Villa and Keanoe up front with Berba just in behind the two

I hate his agent twat. It's just him that does the stirring all the time. Berba complained about he tabloids unsettling him over the summer. Well, he needs to have a word in the ear of his bloody agent. He gives em all the fuel they need for stories with his words! Berbatov's a clever guy though, so worryingly I think that he is not entirely unhappy for his agent to be doing this. I'll guess we'll see in the summer. I reckon a couple of big signings and he might still stay. They will have to be made quick in the window though.

Poster, you haven't actually told us what you have read to lead you to making this thread.

Source: Setanta

Dimitar Berbatov’s agent has exclusively told setantasports.com that Tottenham have received no contact from Milan regarding the Bulgarian, but the option would be discussed should such an offer arise.

Berbatov’s name has been heavily linked to the Rossoneri in the Italian press, as Carlo Ancelotti sets about rejuvenating his ageing side.

The Tottenham striker has been a revelation at White Hart Lane, netting 20 goals this season – including the equaliser in Spurs’ Carling Cup triumph over Chelsea.

Berbatov’s agent Emil Dantchev insists the club has had no contact with Milan and he claimed his client is happy at Tottenham, but he admits the prospect of playing for Milan would be discussed should an offer come their way.

“If there is any interest there has been no contact with his club,” Dantchev told setantasports.com.

“Milan is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and if there was interest we would discuss it with Dimitar.

“At the moment Dimitar is concentrating on doing his job with Tottenham. There is plenty of time until the transfer window.

“He is happy. But what I know from my 25 years in football is that if a player is happy somewhere, it does not mean he cannot be happy somewhere else.”

as much as he is a knob, he is doing his job. his loyalty is to his client, not spurs. We dont employ the agent. he is employed by his client.

I'd take Joe Cole and 10/15 Million off Chelsea, and then go and get Villa. Than all we need is a decent centre mid and we should be able to challenge 'Pool for 4th!
