As far as I'm concerned Keane is one of only two players who has earned the right to act like Charlie Big Potatoes this season.
I don't think Jol's departure will make any difference. Berbatov will be off anyway if we finish in mid-table or below. And rightly so: he made his show of loyalty and firmly kept Man U out of the frame last Summer, but it was based on being at a club that was challenging for the top.
If we're going backwards instead, he'll be well within his rights to look elsewhere. He has a career to run and he's not 18 anymore.
Oh? Who is the other? (I agree about Keane)
Seriously, sorry but if this story is true then Berby can piss off, why would you want players like that in your side anyway, there's 11 players in the team not just him. Fine sell Berby for £25 million to United or Milan and let Ramos bring in some hard working players that will help this club climb back up the table.
I'm Glad it's Ramos thats coming in, at least now we can get rid of some of these pre madonna's and to be honest average players, by that I mean, Zokora, Jenas, Rocha, Gardner, Ekotto, Tainio, Huddlestone etc, basically the whole midfield needs changing. Hay Ramos might even buy a left footed left midfielder at last.
I don't believe this. Berbs wants success - that is all. We all want that, and Levy has taken a brave decision to let Jol/Hughton/Segers leave. Now we will have a new management in place soon.

surely only bale has exceded expectation?
levy - brave - you are clearly demented - levy engineered jol going - hughton - segers are clearly not up to the job - and should have been sacked ages ago
Berbatov would not be missed at spurs in the slightest. In fact I would be well happy if he left and we used the money to strengthen other pressing areas such as the goal keeper and defence.
Robinson got Jol the sack in the end.
Speak for youself, this is a totally ridiculous thing to say. It's players like him that we need if we are to seriously move forward. His finesse is something that we haven't had for decades! His effect on our attack is undeniably revolutionary and it would be a terrible shame to see him go and I for one hope that we do make top 5 just to be able to keep him around (If this is in fact the minimum that he wants in order to stay.) If his minimum is CL football, well then all the best Berbatov.
Brave isn't the word I would use with Levy right now. Idiot is one I would. When you are hours away from a must win game kicking off you don't fire your manager.
Until Levy and his fellow directors come clean to the fans I won't trust any of them. They have to explain:Levy and his directors have made this club a laughing stock and shamed the name of this great old club.
- why Jol was treated so badly?
- why allow him to spend so much money if he wasn't the right person?
- why seek a new manager so early into the season?
- why deny any link with Ramos and give Jol public support when really you wanted Ramos the whole time?
Also Levy should lift the ban on the Evening Standard because the criticism Matthew Norman wrote now seems fair.
