Basically couldn't ask for a much better LCB for us to sign this summer.

Experienced player who's won loads and played in a team who dominate possession and play a high line. Excellent passer of the ball and would be a calming influence on Romero.

Downsides would be the issues he's had with injuries and the fact he isn't super quick (but he's definitely mobile and quicker than the likes of Lenglet, Davies and Dier). He also reads the game much better than any of our defenders.

The only other LCB's we could sign who would come close to his quality would probably be Gvardiol or Schlotterbeck.

Didn’t he have attitude issues with not playing a season or so ago too?

This list doesnt scream sicknote player though. Major injury is 11 games out in recent seasons.
He's been mostly not playing due to Akanji Stones Ake all playing very well.
