Willian is supremely fit athelete. I hope chelsea buy havertz and let Willian go for free and we snap up Willian in the process. We should give him 3 years deal

They aren't buying Havertz but he's got to go anyway, otherwise Ziyech and CHO will never get games.

In 4231, werner, tammy abraham and giroud will be their striker. In two wings pulisic, ziyech and CHD will play. They can still afford Willian in one of the wings as well. Unless lampard plans to use werner as a wing forward and give more game time giroud and tammy abraham. Thn werner, pulisic, CHD, ziyech as wing forward and giroud/abraham as striker. Willian will not be needed than ..

Yes, they have lot of attacking options they can choose from .

I get the feeling he isn’t that keen, and is hanging out for something else. I’m not liking the agent speak about how he doesn’t want to come and play second fiddle to Kane. Maybe time to move on. The only thing making it viable was the contract situation and the fact Moura could have been used to get the fee down.
I’d be looking at Schick from Roma instead. He had a decent spell at RBL, and Roma are looking to sell. Decent size, physicality, pace and technique. Now if we could use Lamela or Moura in exchange, with the cash left we could replace with Watkins or Eze to help our depth with HG options. I’m expecting it to be that kind of wheeling and dealing summer. Wouldn’t be a bad thing, some major freshening up is needed.

I know Milik from national team. He formed great partnership with Lewandowski. But then he got those knee injuries, then Piątek was banging goals and Milik was not playing. But he's inteligent player, I'm pretty sure him and Kane would find a way to play together. But I can't tell you how he would do as a lonely striker, he hasn't played a lot like that in Polish team. He can score from free kick or from distance, very good left foot. If we do buy him, be prepared that he would miss few sitters. This is something he gets often criticized for. He is excellent in finding himself in scoring position but he tends to miss. He's also not very fast. Generally speaking, he is a good player but I think we can do better. He would probably fit in a good functioning team but he is not someone that would take us to the next level. Of course, he is better than our current second striker because we have none. I'm just afraid he will end like squad member player. We have a lot of players like that and that's why we are where we are now.

Playing style wise Piatek or Milik, who would suit us better? Didn't know piatek is also Polish. If i am not wrong, we were in pole position to sign piatek.

Milik is better all-round player, he would suit us more.

What the hell are you on about?! Hoping that a rival team buys one of Europe's best attacking midfielder in years and that we buy Willian? Come on son, are you trolling or what? Your nickname is "Emiley Heskey"?

I am being realistic. Can we sign Havertz? If not, then I would rather take the player who is chelsea's best player in this season.

Not clear exactly when he said this or why....don't Ronaldo and Dybala still play for Juventus?!

Recent reports have suggested that Tottenham are in the running to sign Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik. However, Spurs have suffered a huge blow, as Milik’s agent has rejected any notion of his client moving to north London.
Speaking to Radio Punto Novo, as relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb via Sport Witness, Vincenzo Morabito said: “Milik to Tottenham seems complicated. They have the best English striker in the league and he’d go to sit behind Kane. It’s easier for him to end up at Atlético Madrid or Juventus.”

I don't think this is Milik's agent - he just seems to be an intermediary. Milik's agent is apparently David Pantak, and as this article from earlier this year shows, they chat absolute shit:

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Romeo Agresti is meant to be reliable I think, especially when Juventus are involved. Alasdair Gold has also said we are interested on multiple occasions.

Tottenham face battle to sign Milik as Juventus enter race for Napoli striker

Romeo Agresti

The Poland international is interested in a move to the Serie A champions, but Goal understand the London club want him as an attacking option
Tottenham are working on signing Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli but face tough competition from Juventus for his signature, sources close to the negotiations have confirmed.

The Poland international striker's contract in Naples will expire next season and the Bianconeri are trying to fix up a swap deal in order to replace their main forward, Gonzalo Higuain, with another strong attacking option.

Juve have put centre-back Cristian Romero, currently on loan at fellow Serie A side Genoa, on the table, however this has been refused by Napoli who are not keen to swap a striker for a defender.

Talks are ongoing about including winger Federico Bernardeschi in a deal, while Luca Pellegrini, despite being a left-back, is considered an exciting enough prospect to be of interest to the Neapolitan club.

Juve are already preparing for next season as they defend their Serie A crown against challenges from Lazio and Inter, with midfielder Dejan Kulusevski signed from Atalanta and the swap deal with Barcelona involving Arthur and Miralem Pjanic completed, while the future of Higuain remains uncertain.

The discussions, however, have allowed other clubs to stay in the race for Milik, and Goal has learned that Tottenham are among those sides.

Although Milik is said to be keen on joining Juve and linking up once again with former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri, a move to Turin is not a certainty and Spurs is still a possible option.

Spurs are looking to boost their attacking options, with there currently a lack of quality competition for first-choice frontman Harry Kane. An established striker such as Milik, whose physical presence also offers something different to Kane's style, is also attractive for manager Jose Mourinho.

The 26-year-old, who has 14 goals in 49 international appearances for Poland, has been a regular source of goals for Napoli since joining the club from Ajax in the summer of 2016. This campaign he has registered 10 strikes across 19 Serie A appearances.

His major drawback is a propensity for injuries - Milik has missed matches this season due to a variety of groin, knee and other muscle knocks, which may not make him the reliable deputy for Kane - who has himself suffered injury woes this campaign - that Tottenham need.
Does anyone think that just one time it would be lovely to see us linked with a player without the words: “they face a tough battle with...” accompanying it?

Yeah, it'd be nice. It makes you feel brow beaten before you even bother to read into the link.
