I'm really fascinated to see her relative skill level vs the others in the league.

Alex is a huge figure in women's football which means she is presumably an enormous figure across sport in the States, in which case I can't help wondering why she chose to come to Spurs, I can't imagine we're that much of a draw for someone of her standing so I can't help wondering why did she come?
Could it be that an American national figure may be useful to some upcoming event that may not be entirely football based, something that we may want to generate lots of publicity?

As a follower of WSL, it really isn't that deep. The American League was cancelled and doesn't start up fully until March, so Americans are coming over for regular football across the league. Alex decided very late to make the move, by which time all major clubs had their business sorted for different reasons. Football wise, she's unfit and club record not as good as the hype, so big teams said no. Outside of big clubs, it's teams like reading and Brighton, which not as tempting as London. Spurs also have two of her Orlando best mates that talked her into coming to Spurs last minute.

I hope she does great.

Wsl has some very strong teams in it and Spurs woman are only just now starting to establish themselves after playing catch up.

I think she will do well against the lesser teams but will struggle against the bigger sides. Either way she improves the team immensely.
