When you do that with footballers, like they did with Skriniar, and when you do things like that about a player like Alessandro Bastoni, I've kept really quiet, but I'll tell you something, they went down in my estimation when they did that. We have not resorted to that, but I'll tell you, you can tell them now if you're watching it, we're still looking for another defender, and they've got to go to Torino and get Bremer, and... and... I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them. Love it.

Is it not conceivable that Inter dangled Bastoni in front of us if we agreed not to go after Bremer?

So have i got this right, Bastoni's agent has more or less told Inter that his client is staying regardless of what the club says? Or is there actual evidence that Inter have said not for sale on any terms?

If it's the former then this sounds like a common agent ploy to say to the current club that they need to sweeten the player's exit by giving him a share of the transfer fee they would receive.
If it's the latter then clubs always have a price and its about who blinks first and if one side over-pays or the other accepts less than their stated price.

Word on the street has it that he refused to come because he was concerned about the standard of the Lasagne.

I remember the Kane thread last year when people were mocking City fans for still believing he was moving, after it was directly stated he wasn't. Football fans, we're all the same.
