Yeah he did but it was a game that most people to forget! We went 2-0 up and then completely blew it and lost 3-2 - I remember Rasiak playing in that particular game and he was awful and couldn't pass or get a decent touch of the ball when passed to him to save his life!

I don't like to pick on Rasiak but he really REALLY was bad in that game against a championship team which usually he is great scoring against!

*Shudders at memory of watching game*

I will always remember him for that goal against West Ham. I jumped up at my parents house and smashed their expensive light when my fat head hit it.

Danke Paul, Auf wiedersehen.

If you look at his archives on www.paulstalteri.com he was quite a hero at Werder Bremen before he joined us. A bit of a legend really, & the fans loved him like he was Beckham.

Remember who else had a shocking game that night? Tony Gardner!!!! AWFUL! It was bloody cold there too!

Best thing about that cup tie was singing 'Elvis Elvis giv us a song' (until he fucking scored!!!)

Cheers Stalts. Legend for the winner against W ham

Why did someone just speak German to a Canadian?

A reliable, steady defender who really put a lot in for very little recognition - hope he finds his game again, wherever he plays

great pict..Strange how someone that poor could be so loved..

Ah come now Alex. You do him a disservice. Virtually an ever-present in our best defence for 20 odd years when we finished 5th the first time.

The odd 'rick' - no more than any other member in the squad, but just unlucky that he got punished for them.

Always will have a great respect for Salty, hence writing an entire song about him.

Cult legend in my book. Of the Steffen Freud niche.

My girl's favourite Spurs player. Makes me quite proud of her really. She liked his 'no-frills' game. Worked hard for the team and did his job. For me he is a legend for being a solid and dependable member of the best Spurs defence I can remember (our current one, recently revamped, may do better, but we did fucking well that season without spending huge cash), and of course the winenr against West Ham. Saw that game with a hardcore 'cockney-hating' Man U fan and he was leaping around the room by the end. I guess it will take a few titles to fully convert him to a Spurs fan, though.
