Not sure if there is already a thread on this if so flick it.

I was just wondering if anyone followed the A-league. As I live in Perth I see a few Perth glory games but the standard I've always thought was shocking. The arrival of Gallas excited me purely because of spurs although the reception from Glory fans was that they wasted a million a year on him.

Are there any players around the league that could cut it in the prem?

I don't really follow it but I've kept my eye on Del Piero's time at Sydney FC because he's one of my idols. Scored some really nice goals for them, currently struggling for fitness though.

Most I've seen of it are the fantastic annual blooper reels.

On a serious note, I've watched about 10-15 games this season and although the standard is a bit patchy, it is quite an entertaining league! A lot of high scoring games.

Almost worth watching just for the commentators at times!
