Since May I've heard a lot of other fans from clubs like Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd and even West Ham saying something very similar. They'll slag us off before saying something along the lines of "Spurs are going to get slaughtered in the group stage when they face Inter Milan or Barcelona". Maybe we will get slaughtered but maybe we wont! Either way, none of them seem to understand that it's more to do with having a chance of glory than it is to do with winning the whole competition.
I don't know a single Spurs fan who expects us to win the Champions League but when all is said and done, every football fan in the world will know our name and feel the electricity of a European night at White Hart Lane! As the great man so famously said, "It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high... so high, in fact, that even failure will have in it an echo of glory!" How true that is today and that's why when we get drawn in the same group as one of the European giants later, we're going to be loving every minute of it!
YIDS!
