We are going to finish at least 4th and qualify for CL by our own endeavours and not rely on teams like WHU , hope as always that they get beat.
We all hope that is the case. Until we are nailed on to do so I'll also be hoping the English teams raise the coefficient so that safety net is there.
Spurs>>>>>>>>what our opponents are doing good or bad.

How can one random Europa game determine that? There are still 2 German teams in the CL who could face each other in the final. Leverkeusen could win the Europa too. And all the English teams might go out next round so how can this one result make it a near certainty? I really hope it is the case but just confused as to how it works.

West Ham through, Liverpool will be, now 4-0 up. Villa just gone 1-0. That will be 8 extra pts tonight.
Anything from Brighton will be a help. 0-0 at the moment.
If these results stay the same our average will be 16. .If Leverkusen(the only Germans playing tonight) win they will get 3 pts to put their average. to approx 16.3
A win for Brighton puts us almost level.
Germany will only have 3 left, Dortmund won’t go any further, nowhere near good enough. We will have 5 left who all are capable of going the full distance .
Game set and match
Brighton just gone 1-0 up.

All about the swing. Because West Ham knocked out a German side, we get 2 pts from that to their 0 and then automatically get another 1 for participation in the QF, so that's 3 pt swing and we have now jumped into 2nd place (if the results stay as they are).

Ollie Watkins injured. Not sure how bad it is
Any sustained loss of their only good striker could mean top4 chances over for Villa

Finished 3-2
We now have an average of 16.25. Germany approx 16.3
we have 5 left incl 3 potential tournament winners. They have 3 incl Dortmund who wont get many more pts.
Shoukd be Italy and England for the extra places

Yea but still seems a close call. Think if Qatabag held on that would have sealed it for England
