Everyone knows Trippiers best asset is his right foot so what a great idea it is to play him at left back where he can't cross with his right foot.

England still don't have a style of play. they do pretty much nothing. feels like any chances created are by luck rather than by any particular patterns of play.

complete contrast to Germany.

The chances we're creating seem to be from chaos rather than any structured football, getting big Ole vibes from Southgate.

I know it is only a friendly but It is so frustrating because with a competent manager I firmly believe we have enough good players to win the World Cup. It’s just the manager who’ll let us down.

Watch Maguire commit and push out too early, and see the hole he leaves behind him.
That is exactly right. Tripier left his man to go to the deliverer expecting Maguire or someone to be inside him to pick up his man. Terrible defending.

Southgate plays for set pieces. They’re our main way of scoring. It’s lower mid table PL thinking.

Bet Kane's been having them practice that crappy little routine on the training ground to give him a shooting chance.

Just get in the box you dope.

Same as the game the other day, has taken england to concede to actual go and compete and push 10 yards further up the pitch.

I’m sure we’ve been linked with an interest in hofmann

pickford has to do better there.
Haven‘t seen the shot from behind the goal, but it looks like it was straight at Pickford and he dives out of the way and flaps at it with his left hand.

We can't sign sterling he will wind me up too much, his decision making is so fucking annoying.

Great dribbler, dangerous when he's in the box, but if I was playing on the same team as him I'd probably kill him.

flapped at it then did some silly little jump to make it look like he tried his best.

Not a Southgate fan by any means, but England not being able to pass simple balls to each other isn't on him.

Pickford nowhere near a top keeper either. He must frustrate everton fans no end with that kick into touch. Must be the 3rd time this game already
