I think they made a mess of the kits this season. The main issue is that the third kit is too close to our first and second. If we can't wear white, wear navy blue. If we can't wear either what have we got? Black and grey. Just dumb in my opinion.

First game of the season and we had to combine the first and second kit because all three clashed with Newcastle. If they can't come up with three kits different enough to cover all eventualities, I don't have much faith in their future efforts.

Big fan of this seasons navy away shirt. Think it looks great and more importantly the fit is a fantastic. As someone said earlier good first start so hope they can improve next year.

However as long as Bale is wearing it along with a shiny new striker I really don't care what it looks like!

If that rumour about the colour of the trimming on the home shirt is true, there could be uproar. The purple bit could stem from old away kits but the other is a bit...odd.

Seems weird to me. The collars being a bit more 70s in shape doesn't add up either. Must be a prototype.

Where did the rumour about the colour of the trimming come from? Was there a photo?

Got a shirt first time in years, hate the collar; makes it very ill-fitting. Prefer if it was round neck

Not too keen about the collar me neither. Really like the away shirt though and the fitting of the third shirt, would like those models to be used next season.

@wallyjakeman...is the third shirt looser or tighter than the other two? The tops this season aren't exactly ideal for the beefier fans like myself

The issue won't be that they simply 'can't' though it's just that you could say they got it wrong this season. I'd be very surprised if they were not to learn from it.

I still prefer our UA kits this season to any of our Puma ones.

Away shirt is tighter than the home shirt, and I'd say the third shirt is marginally tighter than the away shirt. Compared to the Puma shirts the fitting is a bit different, looser around the shoulder and arms, and tighter around the chest/belly IMO (in all honesty this could be me being built the other way around, but the Puma shirts fits ok :)). Not ideal unless you are a well shaped football pro unfortunately. The third shirt is more like the puma fits.

It's a pretty massive thing to get wrong though, and really doesn't inspire confidence.

I agree but at least it can be rectified for the rest of their time with us. I just don't think it's a reason to not have faith in UA. We've had our best kits and training gear for years (IMO of course) but if such a wrong is repeated then I'd fully understand. And even though like I said, I do agree with you and it could have been a potential problem on more occasions but there's only been one game in the season where it's been an issue if my memory serves me right.

I don't understand why no one likes the collar. I think a collar on the home shirt is perfect, and I thought last years home shirt was one of the nicest we've had in a long time. :)

Without derailing the thread, anyone know what the Arse's next sponsor is going to be? Their contract with nike ends this year and Adidas have said they will definitely NOT be bidding to be their next make because Arsenal want too much money. I'm going to presume they'll get another Nike contract but if not I could see them with Puma...

I'd like better material. Nike/addidas kits are usually a far better quality.

I can't believe anyone doesn't think the UA kits are a massive improvement over Puma. Puma was low quality, unimaginative, non-specific...it was terrible in so many ways. UA makes far better and catchy designs, tailored specifically for us and not some bland template to use across the universe. This year's home kit was the best in many a year. The only major change I would want is going back to a Navy away kit next year.

Fuck purple, fuck pony

In the 90's we played like a bunch of purple ponies.

Has to be w/n/w for home

Navy blue or yellow (lol) for away

Black kit for 3rd, look like ninjas
