150 mil and you potentially still have Smalling and Jones in your back 3, well done big ed. utd are welcome to him
He's awfully mouthy for someone who hasn't started very well.
If he'd stopped there all would be fine but like @Mattspur said It's ok to talk your own club up, but no need to talk any other club down.LVG said:“No, I don’t regret taking this job,” he told reporters. “Yes, it is a massive job I have taken on at Manchester United. I realise that. And the situation is not worse than I thought - I knew what I would find on my plate.
“I could have opted for an easier job. If I had gone to Tottenham, the job would not have been as enormous as here at United.
LVG said:“I could have easily gone to Spurs. But I chose the biggest challenge of all the jobs in football. And I really wanted to join the number one club in the country, not Tottenham.
“Financially, Tottenham was kind of as attractive as Man United. But, in my eyes, Man United is still the number one club in England, Tottenham really is not.”
You know he's Dutch don't you? Arrogance is a national trait.
Global fan base and shirt sales?Where did this delusion come from that United are bigger than Bayern, Real, etc?
Can you imagine the reaction if they fail to beat QPR?
Yes he'll be given time but he'll still be expected to pick up a respectable rate of points in the interim.
What makes you think he will be given time ?
Just like Moyes, he will be gone by the end of the season if they fail to make the top 4
Not on current form. But it should improve with his new players.Don't Agree.
He'll be there next season.
Funnily enough my Mrs is Dutch and I live in the Netherlands. As far as I have seen it isn't. If you class countries by how their sportsmen (or woman) act then it might seem that way. You should come over and sample it sometime. Amsterdam is as about as Dutch as London is English so come to the smaller towns and you will find they really aren't.
He's made his job a lot harder by not signing some quality defenders, that's for sure! If I was a United fan I would be seriously worried by the area's he has chosen to improve. If I lost Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand in one summer, I don't think Falcao and Di Maria would even enter my mind, let alone be my priority
