I was hoping post retirement that Ben would divert all his time and money into getting Neath RFC back to the top table but I guess I’ll have to settle for future spurs treble winning manager.

Would love to see Ben manage us one day.
329 games for us so far, in his tenth season and has always been the perfect professional.

He's old school football but in a good way.

A proper pro but one who clearly understands the modern game.

His mentality as a player suggests he'll make a good coach, and I hope he's able to translate that into management.

Amazes me that it has been 10 years, feels like a blink.

Always loved him as a player, seemed to understand what the squad was doing as well as his own strengths and deficiencies and how to best fit himself into the squad.

Seems the type of player that could and should transition well into coaching. Given the number of ex players we seem to bring into the coaching ranks the past couple years i would love to see him catch on and start working with us once he calls it quits.

Liked seeing him give that talk in the huddle after the shoot out. Seems to have total respect and buy in from his teammates. He's clearly going to be a manager post playing career and even though I accept I’m very biased, I still think he’s going to be a very good one too.

This was a fascinating interview, going in detail of the methods and strengths of our current and previous managers. He speaks really highly of Poch, Mourinho, and Conte (and not a glowing review of Nuno to say the least). It sounds like Mourinho was the best man manager, really friendly with the players, and Davies says he's still in contact with him for that reason. Conte he says was a tactical genius and training sessions were extremely tactically focused (in a good way). And of course Poch gets glowing praise too

This was part of a longer interview. I saw 3 different ones on Utube. He comes across really well. Intelligent, well grounded and a generally nice guy. He gives some great insights into life at Tottenham, and the Wales squad. I’ve always been a fan of his. A consummate professional and a managers dream player; one who wil give everything for the team and who will play when, where and how the manager thinks he can help the team the most without complaint.
Really worth checking it out.
