Ref’s also a coward for only giving a yellow. Surely he’s seen how high he was.

Coward is a little harsh for not having x-ray vision isn't it?

3 points for Everton. I don't expect Palace to live with them unless there is a real new Manager bounce.
One thing for sure, it will be a crap game. Take Eze and Olise out of the Palace team , you can forget it.
Played 3 times this season and all been shite. I will be watching Coronation St.

What A shock, Dermot the spoofer Gallagher thinks Casemiro not getting sent off was ok.

Honestly are they actually paying him for this insight? he just finds a way to agree with the refs decision... Somehow Casemiro is allowed a number of bad challenges before a yellow can be issued.

Watching games regularly on TV it is clear players feel they are allowed three fouls before they are booked. They then complain when they are booked after one or two fouls. The Refs are to blame for this by 1) not booking players after the first foul and 2) indicating one, two, three when they do book players.

The Refs have a terribly difficult job to do but they do make it worse for themselves.

As ever, most problems in the game would vanish if the refs dispassionately applied the rules consistently.

Until that happens...

Watching Liverpool Saturday, Mac Allister committed 4 fouls in the first half without the ref speaking to him, after that I gave up counting, don’t know If he was booked or not.

Gallagher speaks a load of rubbish on the number of fouls committed side but I honestly don't think the second one is a yellow card...

You look at the replay and it's barely even a free-kick, his foot is planted and doesn't make contact with Barkley. I'm not sure what the issue is :bag:

I like the look of Branthwaite but not sure how Carragher can say it’s a small mistake vs Haaland. If Phil Jones tripped over his own feet trying to defend 1v1 and then a goal was scored seconds later - he would be crucified. Praising him now for being side on while defending. Ffs I used to teach my u11s that.
