I'm in the camp if we are bringing in players that simply can't do what the players they are replacing the manager needs to play a new way

As others have said, just a bit too ponderous. Ange won't be happy with what he has seen and will inevitably throw a few fucks at them. The good thing for me is that it is just one goal, we have had the bulk of possession and we have options on the bench. I expect to see a response.

Whoever is in charge of our defence and defending set pieces needs to be fired. Fuming about how bad we’ve been. We’re playing like a Sunday league side in defence.

Honestly our last game in which we were on top and played well over 90mins was 10th December against Newcastle. Every game since then has not been a fun watch. Just flashes of good play for 10mins has been getting us through games, that cant continue.

I think the issue is bigger than Davies and Royal, personally. There's an almost disjointed nature to our play that was present even when Porro and Udogie were there.
It just doesn't seem to be flowing as well as it was. There are little 2-3 quick passing interchanges in and around the box, but not much else. I know it's always been the case to a degree, but the midfield 3 seem so far from each other a lot of the time. Maybe that's always been the case and I'm just noticing it more. I swear there used to me more little interchanges between Sarr, Bissouma and Maddison in the middle.

You can’t beat a free week just training and preparing. This is the third one and in the first halves we play as if we’ve only just met each other.
After this game we have 2 weeks preparing for Palace. Should be good.
