From an Everton perspective.. why would you stop putting someone on Vicario second half? It was blatantly working every time. Glad they stopped, but I will never understand why you fix what isn't broken..

Still, good to see it was well worth bringing Gil on, as usual.
He did nothing wrong tbh, put in a few tackles, and he had maybe 12 mins on the pitch. Not really sure what one could expect him to do at that point. Werner was exhausted and probably should have come off earlier.

I have to keep reminding myself that we're only in Ange's first season and I probably need to temper my expectations. Also we have bents and Madison coming back from long term injuries. We'll click again soon 🤞🤞

Maddison, Richy and VDV aside it was a very poor performance. Everton probably deserved the draw. If we continue like this then getting top 4 will be hard.

We wont continue like this. Son and Bissouma to come back and 3 players getting back to full fitness and players not in the frontline getting back off injury list soon. Others teams are stuttering too

Fuck sake, such a frustrating performance. So annoying how inevitable that equaliser was, and we always needed a third goal.

Never felt like we had control of the game which is so disappointing considering who we were playing, and even more disappointing when you think back on games and could say the same for quite a few of the them, against 'lesser' opposition.

Taking Maddison off was really frustrating, as you knew we had very little chance of scoring from then on.

All in all it was way too sloppy throughout though, even before any subs were made.

got bullied - end of . Richi - great goals but that 2nd half was embarrassing and only helped adding to the 7 mins at the end .

It's no surprise that the tactics employed by man city at corners was copied by Dyche. Really something we should have prepared for better.

Harrison only has eyes for vicario and no intention of playing the ball. It’s a clear foul.

The referee then refusing to send off Godfrey, award 7 minutes of added time for nothing then ignore Romero being fouled in their equaliser is not our doing at all. It’s just a continuation of bullshit decisions going against us since that Liverpool game.
Think we should focus on not being able to put in enough dominant performances. We were lucky to get the win against them at home and they deserved as much out of that game today as we did.

Wasn’t great from Vic today I’m afraid, great shot keeper but there’s a question mark about him dominating the box. He’s too rooted to that goal line.
He literally single handedly stopped us from going in 2-2 at the break with a save on the goal line…wrong person to be pointing the finger at.

Kulu made a real difference when he came on. All bad.
I hate to agree with that comment but just before the free kick he had the ball just outside our penalty area with loads of opportunity to clear it upfield but fannied about and inevitably got bundled off it. Really, really poor play at that stage of the match.

Overall we weren't good enough. I do wonder if the high intensity is starting to get to our players, or could just be injured players need to get back up to full fitness.

We didnt play well but at what point do we start asking questions about VAR and the officiating in our matches since the Liverpool game? Todays was a clear and obvious rugby tackle on VDV not given as a pen or even checked, another foul on Vicario and another goal allowed to stand. We have had no protection from refs with teams kicking our players to pieces every week. Ive never known it this bad week after week.

We finished the game with an entirely different midfield and lost all control with the Skipp and Gil subs. Maddison should have stayed on.
