I think he has been our best midfielder tonight. Has been good defensively and seems to have more legs than the other 2 at the moment.
This says a lot and is one of the reasons why we are struggling so much, as well as the tactics being an issue also.

Worryingly it looks like brentford could have more on the counter. Very frustrating a goal was made from yet another error.

A bit of gamesmanship and it should be easy to get Maupay off and their captain surely is close to a second yellow.

Front 5 just not been good enough…Porros crossing is terrible and we have no width

We’re getting physically bullied here on our own patch. No good enough. Big team talk and we need to play forward faster.

I don't think he's been any worse than Kulu. Both ineffective.
Kulu is such a confidence player. So inconsistent. I just wish we would swap wingers for 5 minute spells. Have left footers on left and right on the right.
Also when Son is back, I hope he goes straight in at CF.

Shocked at the number of people calling for Werner to come off. Been comfortably the best of the front three for me. Kulu would be the first I'd hook.

I'd love to replace Richarlison as well but we don't have a replacement.

Aside from Ange having a good talk at HT, what can be done to get a little more penetration (titter) in the final third?

He’s been awful going both ways. At fault for the goal, and offering fuck all in the opposition half.
He's obviously been told to take up the same position in attack as he stands on practically the same blade of grass, it's far too rigid and I'd like to see him overlap a bit, this reminds me of AVB rigidity.

I know we've not been good, but it would be nice occasionally to come up against a team that turn up a shambles. Barring Newcastle and Burnley every fucker has a plan against us and executes it.

I’d be considering Hojbjerg. He’s perfect for a game that’s simmering like this. Draws fouls, will go down if required, will provoke opposition to get them etc. He’s usually good at that kind of thing. Cool head on him. Could be a calming influence out there.

Yeah I disagree with you bud, he has made some important challenges and played through Kulu with a lovely pass early on which Kulu couldn’t do anything with because of his lack of pace. He’s obviously not a starter but has been absolutely fine as a squad player this game. The issues come from the complete lack of anything from the wings. Literally Kulu has been a void and Werner has tried hard but his final ball has been appalling. Skipp has been far from the problem as the majority of our struggle has come from the lack of dynamism in the final third.
Fair points mate, let’s leave it there.

Hope we bring Johnson on asap.
