Trying to be completely level-headed....a front 4 of Kane, Son, Lo Celso, and Moura should be theoretically very effective on the counter attack. I would have preferred Bergwijn to Moura but perhaps there's a reason for it.

Sess is a really worry, not making the match day squad again. Havent been overly impressed with him this season, however you would think these games should be a great opportunity to give him some exposure.

I wonder if it’s to do with those training pictures in lockdown with Ndombele. Maybe Mourinho thinks they had something to do with leaking them. Definitely something’s happened

There lies the problem. We are discussing playing counter attack at home against Everton...fucking ridiculous isn't it??

He works harder on defense... thats the reason.

It is utterly, utterly ridiculous that a team with CL aspirations is playing Sissoko in central midfield. Yes, I love his attitude and all that.

Hope we at least see some positive signs tonight.

You tend to counter attack if you win the ball anywhere on the pitch ... I mean ....

It's obvious Jose considers Lucas one of the nucleas of players he talks about. Lucas fights and that is what Jose loves. This is why he's starting week in week out. Maybe if the others showed same passion things would be different. Right now, we need fighters who will go over and above.

He has been left out as pretty all the youngsters have Been because he doesn't know how to coach them to become better players. Look at Utd hardly ever played youngsters and look at Utd now 16 unbeaten youngsters banging the goals in and Fernandez you know the Portuguese lad Poch wanted. Lads and lasses we are in a right shit state unfortunately. Wasn't Poch fault, Harrys,AVB, Big Martin even Paul Mitchell and the scout who just left to go to England. None of them backed by a regime that has won one trophy in 20yrs. Fucking disgraceful until we as a collective voice this and stop buying shirts and tickets, food you name it nothing will change. Levy are the problem no one else, Harry i wish you all the best and thank you for the amazing memories good luck where ever you end up your to good for Spurs now.,

SHOULD be but Moura has zero brain, as he showed by running straight into Kane’s path for Lamela to put him 1 on 1. He’s a headless chicken and can’t see any change from Thurs

I think the club is being cautious with Bergwijn after the injury.

What happens if it is our goal kick?
We're not playing counter attacking football all the time - bit like the Sheffield United game where we dominated possession ....

4 matches in 13 days, there's need for rotation.

So bring in Skipp, bring in Sessegnon. Help to bed in Tanguy. Lamela didn't start on Thursday, why isn't he playing?

This isn't rotation, he's just choosing his favourites again and again and building a team around them.

Had a real opportunity to make a statement after the shitshow last week and instead he's chosen to reward the very players who were at the heart of that shitshow. Bizarre.

We have nothing to play for. Should have started Ndombele or Skipp in midfield looking to build something that resembles a solid midfield. Or at least to give us something to make it worth while to waste 2 hours of our lives looking at this dross.

Tanganga looks good. Also Rashford&Andreas Pereira&their director of academy(?) said that Mourinho was very good for youth players (y)

Hey Mauricio. We're terribly sorry. Please come back.

He didn't play Ndombele, Sess and played Lucas too, but ok

Something is up with Sessegnon for sure, at least Cirkin might get a chance sooner. But if he develops Sessegnon won't find much room at LB and especially at LW.

I'm not sure he even does. His tracking back vs SU (or lack thereof) contributed to two of their goals, whereas Bergwijn put in a really disciplined shift vs United in his first match back from injury.
