If Ndombele doesn’t start I’m going to rip my season ticket into hundreds of Ndombele shaped bits of paper and then sellotape them all together to make one massive Ndombele.

Preferred team:

Ndombele

Ndombele Ndombele Ndombele Ndombele

Ndombele Ndombele Ndombele Ndombele

Ndombele Vorm

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Dier Davies
Sissoko Ndombele (if the story ran by French media is BS as Jose says)
Bergwijn Lo Celso Son
Kane

Suspect Lucas will keep his place and Dele will start with Lo Celso in the pivot with Sissoko but I just feel against a stubborn block which we likely find ourselves up against again we could do with packing our team with as many of our best technical players as we can.

Not gonna put Ndombele in because I just simply don't think he'll feature, otherwise I'd be tempted to put him in over Lamela. Wouldn't have Dele near the starting 11 personally.

Would like to see Lo Celso at AM, as it would add to our goal scoring threat.

If there is no injuries then without doubt this will be the starting 11 away at Sheff Utd.

Gazza, Toby, Verts, Sess, Skipp, Winks, Lucas, Lamela, Dele

Wont happen but i want Tanguy to be given a chance to prove himself. Its not like the others set the world alight.
And we have 5 subs I feel we should use.

This is the team for me. Lamela's tenacity and work rate a must for a difficult away fixture.

As others have already posted, I would certainly go with this.

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Dier Davies
Sissoko Lo Celso
Bergwijn Lamela Son
Kane
I will be very surprised if Dele doesn't start, but imo Lamela brings more creativity and drive to the team, and I think he links up well with Gio behind him. Having both Lucas and Dele off the bench are good options.

Yeah agreed. Like said I would have been tempted for Ndombele as I think he'd be picking out these passes that Lamela seems to be coming off short with but I think his energy is vital. Even yesterday just the buzz he provided when he came on I thought was really needed in what was quite a flat display up until then.

I’ve long toyed with the opinion that Lamela is better off the bench than starting.

Yeah possibly. I don't know now though, just think Lo Celso behind Lamela might really suit us, in terms of those two linking midfield and attack.

Both Argies, both tenacious, got the vision and quality...basically on the same wavelength.

I'd make them part of our spine for a run of a games and see how we do.

Lo Celso obviously is going to be a regular starter regardless.

I think if the team was already functioning well as an attacking unit that claim would have more merit but there's so much lacking with us when going forward that Lamela's brightness is actually one of the only positives in my opinion. Thought he was pivotal against United even if he did mess up some good opportunities with poor final passes.

Is the team I'd like to see, I fully expect Dele to start however which is understandable. Lamela, Moura and either Dele/Ndombele off the bench is very tasty.
