You feel he has a skill set that that'll offer something to this squad to improve it? I mean if you do, fine ...

I just find it funny how you were being sarcastic with a voice in your head as if I had been banging the Ryan Fraser drum. I linked it as he had been mentioned several times. He's not a player I'm particularly interested in but given that he's on a free, will be relatively low wages and we're facing a covid crisis, if he was used in a similar fashion to Aurier then I think he makes an okay squad addition. There's many many players I'd rather have but it sounds like we're going to have a mediocre summer so if he does end up coming in I hope he can add some assists in a LWB role to make it a worthwhile signing.

Might want to take the rod out your arsehole ;)

I'd save the money on wages, no point treading water with other teams cast offs considering what we already have at the club. Utilise the youth we have and accept we're not going to be challenging if we're not going to open the metaphorical cheque book when clubs we're challenging are.

I'd take Ryan Fraser on a free. I think he'd improve us and it would potentially free up letting someone like Lamela go for a fee which Mourinho can reinvest.

Not really sure we need an AM unless Lamela is sold so idk why we seem so in on him. And im pretty sire he isnt considered HG which is a negative. However, we have to remember that free transfers and lowish wages is what we will be focusing on. So if Fraser signs then i’ll be okay with it as long as it isnt a certain short bald man forging ahead with agreeing transfers again without the managers blessing.

He would count as a HG for Premier League and wouldn't count as a HG for Europe.

The Milik link has been around for a while, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle and more so than any other football club, Juve, i'd say he is available but we're going to compete with a couple of those clubs mentioned ... Good work by his agency though.

I'd much prefer Eze from QPR than Fraser or Willian on a free. Much better value when you take into account age, wages, agents fees, signing on fee, resale value etc and has got more potential to improve.

Conflicted feeling on that. On the one hand, I get that he doesn’t want to risk getting injured ahead of a lucrative move to a more competitive club, especially in a climate where he’ll be even more in demand than before. On the other hand, he’s a nobody if not for Bournemouth and Eddie Howe, and they’re fighting relegation in part due to his failure to perform as a key player once his head was turned, he morally owes the club.

It’s not black and white, there’s nuances to it, but it makes me question whether I’d want him at Spurs, despite thinking he’d actually improve our squad as an HG attacking option,
That’s exactly how I feel. Whilst he’s potentially a bargain that would add depth to our squad( and we know how dangerous he can be), there’s clearly something wrong.
Maybe it’s him at Bournemouth, maybe their bubble has burst in general. Eddie Howe isn’t getting a tune out of these talented players.
I don’t see the benefit in him sitting out the remainder of the season. From the outside it looks like he’s either nursing an existing injury, or not committed to his team’s relegation battle. Neither of those are attractive from a transfer point of view.

Really like the look of Eze. On the ball he’s amazing. Hopefully he will be more like Dembele than Taarabt but definitely someone we should go for. ITK in January sounded positive, hopefully with Amos and Clarke going there then we can close a deal

Honestly think Ryan Fraser would surprise a good few people if he signed for us. Not like hes coming on massive wages, isn't going to swagger in and expect to be 1st choice and would offer a different option in the squad. Im all for it.

I agree but you're in cloud cuckoo land if you think Levy would pay any more than £5m for Eze when he knows there's free transfers available like Fraser that Jose would probably take. If there's any sizeable asking prices out there we're not getting close to them imo. I think another club will end up offering decent money for Eze and he will go elsewhere.

It's going to be a summer of skimping from us and 95% of our previous targets will be off the table.

Fraser is the kind of PL proven signing Liverpool would make to solidify their squad, but we turn our nose up at because he wouldn’t crack our first team. Shaqiri has chipped in with some crucial moments for them, when called upon.

Or Levy would know that for example possible deal Eze for 10m+Amos would be bargain for 21yrs old HG midfielder/winger making better numbers in Championship than Grealish/Maddison/Buendia?

If Fraser don't sign a short-term extension until the new end of the season, what are the eligibility rules for the rest of this season? As a free agent would he be allowed to join Spurs and play for the rest of this season assuming we have a space for him in our registered squad?
