I can see us heading into another situation where we sign a couple of uninspiring players in key positions and then, when the time comes to push on we'll be told that the squad is full of uninspiring players so there's no room to recruit. My hope is that we spend decent money on a quality DM and switch to a mainly 433 setup. Other positions would be a bonus but only if we can improve on what we have.
A CF is as important imo. Those 2 positions are a must.

KWP is 22 going on 23 and looks like hes on his way out. Ngakia is really impressing at 19 and is available for nothing (tribunal fee aside). Not sure I understand your logic.
My logic was , after a brief YouTube search (which mostly yielded vids of Spam fans talking about him, and a short video of him doing very little of note against Liverpool), that he wasn’t any better than KWP. So stuck rather than twist. That was my logic.
However, I did say that I hadn’t seen much, and it was only on YouTube.
If there are better clips that showcase them, I’d watch them and maybe even change my mind. I’ve even put him in my Fantasy team! (although that’s more to do with his 4.0 value and chances of playing than anything impressive)

I’m not saying Ngakia is terrible, just that on the limited evidence he doesn’t look better than the talent we already have.

Can you imagine having Ramsey here, would probably go down as the most unpopular signing of all time.

Is that because he is signing with Dortmund? Yeah, big move for him.

Don't know mate, i just linked the fraser info as people have linked him with us and thought a few would be interested, the tweet displays the way it does because of how twitter is set up to show the parented tweet first. I'm sorry this has shit in your cornflakes.

Conflicted feeling on that. On the one hand, I get that he doesn’t want to risk getting injured ahead of a lucrative move to a more competitive club, especially in a climate where he’ll be even more in demand than before. On the other hand, he’s a nobody if not for Bournemouth and Eddie Howe, and they’re fighting relegation in part due to his failure to perform as a key player once his head was turned, he morally owes the club.

It’s not black and white, there’s nuances to it, but it makes me question whether I’d want him at Spurs, despite thinking he’d actually improve our squad as an HG attacking option,

Yeah, Ryan Fraser will get us back to the promised land of the Champions League.

Feels like 2010.

My thoughts exactly, you often wonder whether teams are having a word in their ear but ultimately you like to see some commitment, it'd be a good signing on a free but does leave a sour taste.
