Udogie has all the attributes to become one of the best LB's in the world.

I'm not even exaggerating.

Wondering if Ange said to DL, let me have him for one more game and show him again what it will really be like. if hasn't bought in then, let him go

Good shout.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's an element of that in their thinking for starting him today.

Otherwise would seem foolish to risk an injury if it looked like he was going.

Maddison has stitched our forward play together beautifully.

Really stands out how much we have missed a player like him.

I think they have relied overly on individual brillance and not much else.
100% mate. Not saying Jose and Conte are terrible coaches as you don't win as much as they have over as long as they have if you can't coach but certainly I think there is an argument to say that the modern day tactics have started to outgrow their approach and both of their styles of play relies far more on individual brilliance rather than an effective overall system which we are seeing with Ange the same that you get with Pep and Klopp etc where you take one player out and the new one fits in seamlessly, whereas with Jose and Conte if for us Kane and Son weren't firing then we offered very little.

They also rely on signing older more experienced top top quality players whereas coaches like Ange and Poch etc can work with and improve younger players.

I wonder how Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho would feel watching these same players play attacking fluid football like this.

btw, I think PEH has done alright today, other than the punt into outer space

I actually think he can still play a part with us and he's a good character to have around

Neverton? Sounds like something a cheesy Liverpool fan would have on the back of his shirt.

Just maybe Kane thinks...fuck it I can get close to the record this season and he stays and thinks about signing a new contract.

That would be amazing

When Kane stays up top - he has been a threat all game.

If he can trust the players behind him, and if he stays, he is going to score loads of goals this season

Probably see us conceding with every chance and think they were right to take that approach?

I disagree but neither really care about the football and only the result. I'm loving how we play, but think we could have conceded more against better opposition.

If Kane is off, and Richy injured, then I don't know why we wouldn't give Son 90mins and end him down the middle, and sub Kane.

Unless...

100% mate and also why it's so refreshing that we have this new formation and style of play because we were all crying out for a Maddison/Eriksen type signing under Conte but neither of them would've fitted in or looked any good in that rigid spread out low possession 3-4-3 but this new style of play suits Maddison so nicely, you can see why he was happy to join us and bought into what Ange said he wants to build.
