Not sure if he’s signed for someone else’s but he was released at the end of last season… he hasn’t developed either
Yeah, who knows if he would have if we signed him up, but thats neither here nor there, guess at the time we didn’t really need another Right Back 😂

Feel so sorry for the bloke. Just can’t get past these injuries. You could see how reserved he was in any minutes he got last season after a really encouraging end to the previous season.

The wording in the announcement about the hope for this being a permanent fix seemed really odd but even if it is I think the psychological aspect will take him longer to overcome than the injury!

Poor bastard. It must be so demoralising for your body to stop you doing the thing you’ve dedicated your life to.

Prof on COYS:

I feel bad for him however ……… he could have had this surgery a significant time ago and would now be ready to impress the new regime. Several times he was advised to have the surgery or he’d keep having hamstring issues and each time he declined. That’s his right, but his choice means he’s less of a victim of circumstance than it may superficially seem.

Been a massive disaster of a signing, some of the worst 25 million we have ever spent, and his only 23, can't see him playing too long in the professional game

Wasn’t that the same as Winks - injured on and off for months and months then a quick op and he’s fixed and up and running within a couple of weeks?

He should have been transfer listed then if he went against the medical and coaching teams.

Who would have touched him who had any sense at all?
Surgery is a big decision. Easy for us to sit here in our armchairs and criticize his decisions over his body that he uses to make his living.

I thought he was likely to be replaced in the next couple of years. Have a feeling it'll be sooner rather than later now.
