Missed 16 games through knee surgery according to Transfermarkt

Thats start of season.

Whats important is, he has 4 goals in 500minutes in PL, all coming off from bench...

His CL record is also quite good - 4 goals from 800 CL minutes, goals coming against good opositions like ManCity , Real Madrid.

He can play LW RW equally well. I believe this is a great signing, not just someone good to come off bench - IMO, potentially start too if he can settle well

Solomon is 100% someone we are interested in and it doesn't take a genius to realise that this is extremely likely following our announcement a few days back. Looks extremely likely that he will join us. Just makes so much sense, especially on a free. He's 100% worth the risk.

It's a win-win situation with this signing.

If he's rubbish we will most likely sell him for a pure profit.

If he's good then we've got him for free.

Can't imagine he will be on massive wages either.

🤷‍♂️

I hope this happens. It’s free and I think the dude has some major major upside potential.

Comes from an under-scouted region. Missed some time due to a big injury but seems like he’s back healthy.

His two footed close control and ability to beat defenders and finish is potentially special. Has a heck of a lot of Hazard in his highlights.

who knows on mentality / consistency / etc - but the raw materials are there.

A bit of info on Solomon:

Last five games for Fulham - averaged 13 minutes on the field. Didn’t start once.
I mean you could at how Danjuma was utilised last year and come to a similar conclusion but then we still know Danjuma is a talented winger.

Strikes me as excellent for Postecoglou-ball, and we're missing someone with his quick feet and 1v1 abilities out wide.

Yep and he’s better than Moura and Danjuma.

Would be another great piece of business also another exciting player who suits Ange's style of football to a tee :)
Really good to see a poster like yourself who have been quite negative of late, becoming positive again with a new manager and some positive Spurs winds.

Too many on here stay negative through almost anything to the point that their opinion becoming unlistenable.

Don’t know much about him. But encouraging he scores against the big teams always a great trait.

What I like about him is that he offers something we don't have - low centre of gravity close control dribbling type player. It gives us something different imo.

Cheap as well. Saved money on the goalie, Maddison at just £40m and now this. Hope that means we can pump the cash into CB’s and maybe another CM.

I guess it's a bit unfair to come to any negative conclusion based on the fact that he was kept out of the team by Willian last season.

He got a bad injury right at the beginning of the season, which I believe effected his whole season.
Even in February the manager said he wasn't ready for 90 mins.
For free I think it's pretty low risk.

Low risk. Squad option that can probably play off the left or right. Will allow a few minutes rest for our first choices.

It makes sense considering it’s essentially free and allows us to spend our budget in other more pressing areas.

the videos I’ve watched he dribbled like Lucas. I just hope he’s better at looking up.

From what I've read he had an amazing period and looked fantastic then got injured and Willian nailed down that position. After that there were some questions about his commitment and consistency as he was in and out of the team, never reaching those same heights again.

Generally seems like they think he's a great 1v1 dribber and some really rate him, but overall they think Willian has been their best wide forward and a bit of a revelation for them last season.

It's all a bit of a mixed bag tbh, which is understandable given his limited gametime and the stop-start nature of it.
What was our announcement a few days back?
Friendly with shaktar with proceeds going to them

We're hosting Shakhtar in a pre season friendly dedicated to the people of Ukraine which will raise money for Shakhtar's charitable foundation. They threatened to sue us very recently if we tried to sign Solomon on a free, so it's incredibly interesting that we now play them.
