Well we've been linked to a few Spanish players which would align with the Luis Enrique ITK.
It’s also wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t get a new DoF until Paratici finds out about his case.

If it’s Enrique, so be it. Really don’t think he’s right for us, but with Levy the way he is right now it doesn’t really matter too much anyway.

Obviously on top of that there was the Napoli owner yesterday saying Enrique had his eye on the PL which implies us as what other club would he go to.
But even so at this point it still seems pretty vague. We shouldn’t get too wrapped up in the idea he is our number 1 choice until we hear more.

I can’t understand the narrative of “Enrique is underwhelming” has anyone else on here experienced Gross, Santini, AVB etc. Enrique achievements have only been bettered by Pep and Cruyff in Barcelona’s entire existence. No one knows if any appointment will work but the entitlement and willingness to get really excited about Slot but be so dismissive of a coach who plays football in the right way and has been highly successful is baffling. You can’t compare to conte and Jose as totally different footballing philosophy and approaches to coaching players.

I suppose it’s a matter of opinion on whether he’s worth it or not. I’d lean towards yes personally as I rate Enrique and he gives a bit more of a proven commodity to the table. I think we need to be getting back to the top 5 ASAP (for CL qualification) or we’re going to get left behind very quickly by the current top 4, Liverpool and Chelsea

Because we need someone to usher in a total cultural reset. Enrique has no experience of that. At Barca, he just took up Pep’s reigns and made some tactical tweeks to the greatest team ever assembled at a club he knew back to front from his playing days. At Spain, the culture has been established for years since their winning era. The guy just has no experience of a rebuild.

Announce Luis Enrique and act like he's been our top choice from the start. We were just waiting for the season to finish. Slot? Never even heard of him. Nagelsmann? Took one look at his teeth and said no. Poch? Never go back. Gallardo? Penis statue would overshadow the Kane statue we have planned.
