I watched maybe 10 minutes in between doing stuff at work and it was boring as fuck. No interest in a champions league KO game is a pretty good indication of how shit the football is.

Hopefully the reason he's still in the dressing room with the players is he's giving them some home truths while telling them he's leaving

I think we need to be really careful about what we want to happen now, let's not rush letting him go now and appointing somebody because we're mad. The season is as close to a write off as we can get, maybe we can sneak top4 but if we make a managerial appointment now, then we're at risk of a short term solution delaying what needs to really be done and that is an absolute clear-out. If Conte goes immediately then Paratici probably needs to resign immediately too because I very much doubt he will get around that ban. We need to be clear on our next steps and not fill a position and then hire a DoF that is the complete opposite of the appointment we have just made. We need interweaved decisions not flippant ones to appease anger.

Long term changes are needed, I'd rather continue with how things are for the next 10 weeks if we make the right decision for the next 5 years. So many were sick of the idea of the new iteration of a protect after Poch, well look where trying to rush to the finish has got us. Our managerial appointment has to be cohesive with our footballing structure. Levy needs to dust that manifesto off and actually read it himself this time.
The plan should be in place and ready to action now.

Another 10 weeks should make no difference.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I’ve been Conte-in up until tonight. So the writing is on the wall question of when. Tonight is solely on the manager but is a result of the ineptitude of the board.
A new manager will come in and we’ll be having the same conversation in 18 months.
I know, it's so obvious. I totally understand why people are looking at the most likely avenue for change (i.e. the coach) but I don't have much optimism that we won't quickly arrive back at the same juncture.

He’s go no legs to stand on. His tactics are dragging the side down. Kane clearly even told him not to take off Kulusevski

Truths where some of the players have been hearing from 3 managers? Likely they didn't do any reflection then I guess.

Every second he stays is a mistake. Disinterested temp like Conte is worse than interested one (be it Mason or whoever)

Levy has as many chances left as he wants…. Nobody tells Levy to go…. He will leave when he wants, regardless of how many mistakes he makes.

People may not like it - but that’s the reality.

As for Conte…. I hope he was sacked before he even got as far as the changing rooms. He is nothing but a bundle of negative energy around this clubs neck.

if we want any chance, any chance at all of playing CL football again next year, he cannot manage another training session, let alone match.
Let’s see how it plays out, but Levy won’t get a free pass now.

If the players have any guts they’ll give him some back. It’s his turgid football that’s the problem far more than the players.

If he is telling he is leaving and taking his dire antique football with him , it is probably enough to lift spirits on squad and secure 3 points against Forest?

I don’t understand the feel sorry for him as he is living in a hotel away from family.

He has enough money to air condition hell. So buy a house or rent a house, move your family over. If not fly them in by private jet anytime you want.

Alternatively if you want people to feel sorry for you don’t bring Sanchez on when needing a goal to stay in the bloody champions league. It was self sabotage right in front of our faces…..just unreal.
