He’s not silky smooth like Bentancur but doesn’t get anywhere near the respect he deserves.

Misses the next champions league game unfortunately. Wouldn’t mind seeing Bentancur and Bissouma get some minutes together in a 2 to prepare for it.

I'm going to get slaughtered for this but I just don't think he's of the right quality. When we get teams that intense press us, he always seems half yard of pace short and his passing puts us back under pressure too often for someone in such a pivotal position.
I do think he's got a great mentality, he's a real team man and he does chip in with some important goals and passes and I love his attitude but I think his attributes are best suited to games against mid table and below teams.

Love this guy. Works so hard and is a mentality monster. I dont care that he doesnt have twinkle toes or dancing feet. Leave that to the others, give me blood sweat and tears all day everyday.

He will run himself into the ground and still find a way to run himself even deeper into the ground!

Well the timing of your criticism is pretty poor isn't it? He has 8 G/A this season, second only to Harry Kane. He's just fired us top of our CL group after being injured, having scored a worldie in the 95th minute.

If you don't think he has been of the right quality this season then what are you actually expecting?

He's probably a half yard off the pace at times because he plays every single minute of every single game near enough. He's probably knackered.
