CANCELLATION REQUESTS

PL getting very pedantic and difficult in a good way with all clubs. Burnley is genuine. It is believed clubs are beginning to take the piss ?
Couple of injuries? Best players at AFCON? Striker out of form?

A few ‘false positives’ and a cancellation request - Bob’s your uncle ?

Good to hear the PL are starting to see the picture.

Spence is one of them. It told it is unlikely. But we are trying (Forest), Got this from within a certain department within, so not news to everyone. We have eye on couple other championship players. One is RWB. We can all jump to assumptions it’s the Derby kid. I really don’t know. Told Dybala is a difficult and tricky one. We have been sounded out.

I quite like the idea of signing talent from the championship, as it is clearly there.

What I don't like is the idea of signing talent from the championship and locking them in the basement of the U23s forever and never seeing them in a game.

Hopefully if we bring some lads in, it's to use them

It is all starting to get a bit underwhelming with the player links.

If we are trying to close the gap as Conte was talking about surely we need to go for some top level players. Not more punts from lower/lesser divisions.

We never seem to learn.

Jack Clarke still gives me nightmares tbh

£10m basically thrown away.

Really strange how people read things completely differently.
With JJ’s post this morning along with exciting young player links I’ve felt really positive over the last few hours.

Who's to say we're not after top talent, but with a sprinkle of potential types.

That's exactly the way forward for me.

We need to go after the players our manager wants.

They are “taking the piss” & the league allows it. Saints had a point when they spoke up. If only others spoke up with them. We are now at the point where clubs are blatantly using injury & poor club management with maybe 1 or 2 positives as reasons to postpone

Well, define regret. I'm not sure about his work rates, but I definitely think he would've been useful as a RW in Conte's 3-4-3.
Regret to me is a decision that’s been made that you later deem nonsensical (and wished hindsight was indeed a wonderful thing).

Letting Edwards leave doesn’t fall into that remit for me.

he's not actually owned by forest, on loan from boro.

Despite the appointment of Wilder Boro have agreed not to recall Spence, they’ve agreed with Forest that he can stay with them for the remainder of the season. This will likely put a spanner in the works for any move we planned to make for him. i.e can’t sign him until the summer.

Good to see us looking at players in the lower divisions. It might not be the flash signings @Aphex wants but it’s a good source of HG talent. Seems to be working for Palace with regards to Eze and Olise. Gelhardt at Leeds looks like he has potential to be a decent player as well.

I've no problem with signing young players from lower leagues in addition to top signings, just not instead of.

I mean, yeah great for Palace and Leeds, but are we comparing ourselves to a midtable club? Elise wouldn't get a game for the top 3 clubs and surely that's what we should be aiming for.

Why are the club supposedly running a Hitchen side project when it seems clear we can't even fund the priority of the first team?
Maybe we will begin to have the funds for the first team? This side project is crucially important but it has to be just that…a side project that doesn’t take resources away from ready made, top level recruits for the first team. Look at Chelsea, United..several homegrown players in their team, especially Chelsea. You don’t do that by accident.

Lol
Meant Reading & Forest ?

Trying for the names, but told others involved and not cast iron. Sorry if I misled. Genuine information.

I wouldn’t bank on them though-Hope you understand
Have you got names?

my lad has been called into first team training at Reading over last few weeks, so knows them all pretty well!

some good talent in the younger teams too
