Huh?No idea about Linekar, but Lineker was a very good striker.

Huh?
His name is Gary Lineker. I don’t get how so Spurs fans get it wrong. He was England captain, and scored in a cup final for us.Huh?
What type of player we talking here? Elegant like Berbatov or a bulldozer like DrogbaHis name is Gary Lineker. I don’t get how so Spurs fans get it wrong. He was England captain, and scored in a cup final for us.

Van-nistelroy?Neither, more of an out and out poacher. It's hard to compare him to a modern day player, more is expected of a striker now than just getting on the end of things.
I'm too young to have seen him play, but having watched a lot of his goals in retrospect, I think the closest you'll probably get to him from a modern day player is Javier Hernandez. Lots of goals from within the 6 yard area. This is a bit of an educated guess, so perhaps someone who watched him at the time can probably explain whether I'm correct or incorrect.Neither, more of an out and out poacher. Strange bump - but I'm too young to have any opinion on Lineker. Given his repute, can someone please tell me as to whether he was any good ?
Now that's far too long in the memory for a new member..... welcome back..?He’s bright like dog’s bright
Does he rank as one of the two you'd pick as Spurs best ever strikers? He also wasn’t one to play dirty, as in, I don’t think I remember him ever getting a yellow or red card in his quite long playing career.
Lol no one comes even close to Jimmy GreavesDoes he rank as one of the two you'd pick as Spurs best ever strikers?
Would it be Sherringham - Linekar?
