We’re not good enough to have a place in the team for a superstar who doesn’t put maximum effort in any more. And we need to build to the future.

We're not good enough for a world class player?Admittedly one on the way down but still.

Really? A generational talent, who isn't solely reliant on pace, of course we have room for one of those in the squad. Doesn't mean he starts every game and plays 90 minutes, but one that has the ability to score a ton of goals and unlock defences with one swing of his magic left foot. Yes, every team has room for that.

It won't happen, I'm fully aware, but to make out that we're not good enough to fit in someone of Bale's talent is a ridiculous statement. Even playing as little as he did last season from the shitty condition his body was in when he arrived, his impact was huge when he did have a chance to play consistently.

A successful team is about the balance between experience, talent, youth, energy, pace and guile. Not just a team full of younger players who run around a lot at full speed.

A theory. call it tin hat ITK.

Neither Bale nor the club said anything when the loan expired. No goodbye or thank you, it’s not as if he left on bad terms.
He openly said it would cause chaos if he announced where would play this year, is returning to Madrid really chaos? Or is saying when Kane leaves I’ll be coming back permanently chaos?

There is already an agreement in place and he will return to fill the big name void.

Before you come at me with the “we didn’t say goodbye to Vinicius either” bollocks, don’t ever compare what those two players mean to Spurs please.

That is all for now.

Seriously, losing both him and Kane this summer is up there with when Berbs and Keane left together. Rips the heart out of our attack.

Would keegan love it if we had something up our sleeve here.

Dunno, watching Son and Dele in pre season they seem to have more freedom. I think we'll be fine.
