My away shirt arrived today. It is a thing of beauty. It may well be, that for the first time ever, I buy two shirts in one season (the third kit).

Mine arrived today and do love it. I am pissed off with the cinch ad on the sleeves. Didn't realise it came with it but shouldn't have been surprised as it is a short sponsor still.

Just a bit annoyed but I do like the shirt a lot

Get over it, just kidding, enjoy the shirt, still waiting for mine to be shipped.

I mentioned earlier, but if you get from the nike website then no cinch logo. Makes the home shirt look very clean

I wont change it now but if the third kit that is rumoured is correct then ill definitely go for somewhere else without the cinch

On the Nike site we are just under £70.
Man City is £70 on the puma site.

Also, don't the manufacturer set the price?

Honestly I don't understand why anyone buys a shirt at those prices. Absolutely crazy,
This is another garbage spreading around about our expensive club, all Nike kits cost exact the same

That won't stop people getting frothy on social media or Internet forums though.
That's the way fake news works, unfortunately. These days you don't have to be right, you just have to hit on the grievances of others and people are all too quick to swallow it down. Sad, but that's the world today.

That is incorrect all Nike kit cost the same

It seems only for the top tier clubs though. BHA home shirt, assuming it is the equivilant of the stadium shirt is £18 cheaper than ours.

Doesn't seem right.

Got an away shirt from the Spurs Shop at the weekend. There were loads there.

Love it.

The last shirt I bought was the 125 year anniversary home one.

I OBVIOUSLY wasn't being serious when I said the club hate the fans. Fuck sake.

But both of those kits, in my opinion, are awful and truly disgusting. But AGAIN, that is just my opinion. I fully understand you can't make every fan happy, it is impossible, so I don't know why you're taking my comments so seriously.

Actually mate I think you had it right when you said the club hate the fans; I find both the away and the third kits beyond horrible.

Yeah I wasn’t necessarily having a go at our club, I just think 70 quid is an absolute rip in general. 30-40 quid seems about a fair price to me - how much does it really cost them to make it?

That price prevents me from buying it every season. If i ever get a shirt it’s always a few seasons out of date.

Do the club ever take feedback on this? If Nike set the tone then I guess it’s all out of our control…

Hi, can I ask, what was the sizing like? Does it come as a slim fit or is it more regular cut? I've generally been buying Large tees as I've gotten older, after wearing mediums for most of my adult life but I don't want it to be tight fitting around my paunch belly six pack

My elite away kit came yesterday.

Lost a bit of weight the past month so got a L as the XL from last year has got really big on me now. There's quite a big difference in the L and XL sizing on the elites.

Luckily it just about fits me right and I plan to drop a little more weight and don't think I'd ever fit in a medium if the difference between L and XL is the same as the difference between a M and L.

I do like the shirt though. Happy with my purchase. New avatar of the back of my shirt.
