I mean i'd be gutted if Toby left and Dier Sanchez stayed but if toby and sanchez leave for Romero and Kounde, then thats going to be massive.

Dier can captain our conference team.

Doesn’t would like he has accepted the move though as of yet, after reading the report.

Wow! Patarici is definitely earning his money. How much will he get for Sanchez? £25 million?
How much for Winks? £25 million? How much for Dier? £4.92?

£13m would be a fantastic fee for him all things considering.

Will be able to get his big wages off the books too.

The last of our great back 4. Fond memories of Walker, Toby, Jan & Rose.
Good luck to the guy if he does make his move.

He only has to go there for 2-3 seasons and he'll set up his Grandchildren for life.

Antwerp will still be willing to take him when he's 34-35.

Qatar hosting the WC in 18 months makes that league a bit less of a dead end for Toby than it would have been otherwise. “Picking a player who knows the conditions” etc…

great bit of business by Paratici, if he can pull it off.

I've just done a google translate on the actual article and this is what it says:

"Alderweireld had indicated that he wanted to leave and Tottenham also wanted to cooperate in a transfer. Antwerp already sniffed at the right-footed defender, but could not meet his wage demands.

Al Duhail can undoubtedly do that. Alderweireld has yet to agree personally with the Qatari club, but will fly to the Middle East. According to local media, a three-year contract is on the table. A deal appears to be in the pipeline, but the Devil has yet to give his final blessing after a site visit."

If he's flying all the way there, don't think he's too against it. I hate these aggregator accounts, just churn out shit without verifying it or, worse than that, actively manipulate things for clicks.

Here is a translation of that article

Has Toby Alderweireld played his last game for Tottenham? It looks like it. After all, the Spurs have accepted an offer of 13 million euros from Al Duhail for the 32-year-old Red Devil, who still has to work it out himself with his new potential employer. According to local media, he can sign a three-year contract.

Alderweireld has been playing for Tottenham since 2015. He still has an agreement until mid-2023, but would not fit into the playing style of new coach Nuno Espirito Santo. Alderweireld has made a total of 236 appearances so far, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.

Would be a great piece of business if all goes through. We can't keep relying on that 16/17 team. Toby, like the others have been fantastic servants at the club but can't cling on to them

Everyone bar the likes of Harry, Son and Hugo should be moved on. Dele, Winks, Dier, Aurier, Sissoko and Sanchez should all be moved on if possible. Let's do this rebuild properly.
