Think we should hold off on the Davison assumptions. We don't have any idea what sort of deal was offered. And for that matter, how keen was the player to join them? Or, are they simply more in need of money right now, due to cash-flow restrictions.
I know treating Big Dav the village footballing idiot is fair game, but in the right league, with the right team, he will thrive. For example, I can see him doing well in the German league. I would include France, but they are in some serious crap right now.
Likewise, he'd do well for the right team in Italy as well, I believe. As much as many of our fans don't rate the guy, i wouldn't go as far as to say he's a useless scrub. Far from it. He just hasn't found a way to be consistent with Spurs. Much I think has to do with not being able to play with a more senior partner, who can guide him through a game. He always did well with Verts, for example. But makes far too many mistakes when next to Toby and Dier.
Get him into the right situation, and he'll do great.
I completley forgot that Tomiyasu is amazing with both his feets.Tomisayu and Rodon both play LCB in a back 3.
Personally I rather Dier and Toby were sold before him. And actually would give him a chance to partner Romero.
Wages most likely. Only Juventus can pay him. All other Clubs need to sell players first.I'm surprised teams in Italy don't want Toby really. He would boss it over there.
Because they can and will buy him (they have an option)Reading up on Romero and everything I’ve looked at says he’s a Juventus player currently on loan at Atalanta.
So how is he Atalanta’s player to sell?

adding onto this, they can activate the buy option whenever they want. it's not time-sensitive (like the 25m release clause we had with toby that was only active for two weeks)Because they can and will buy him (they have an option)
Atlanta have an option for 13mil.
They will take it then sell him for the profit.

Yeah and Paratici sold him to Atalanta so he knows the deal better than anyoneAh!
So technically he is still a Juventus player then, meaning Paratici must already know him very well personally. That’s encouraging.

Rodon?I still feel we are lacking the dominant strong in the air leader at the back.
