Yeah, this is what worried me. If it was as advanced as Ally said, we would've heard from Italy first or shortly after.

Sort-of like with Conte, seems like Ally has jumped the gun here.
How did he jump the gun? He said out of all the CBs we are working on this one is most advanced. Clearly his source isn’t crap because it looks like we’re about to get Gollini. Seems more like you’re jumping the gun calling him out because DiMarzio says it isn’t that close. The bipolarity of this place does my head in.

Various reports on Twitter stating around 35mil would seal the deal. Seems pretty reasonable.

If we can sell/exchange Sanchez, then the fee of a Romero, Kounde, or Skriniar won’t be an issue for us and we will likely pull the trigger on either of these 3 once we know a deal for Sanchez is down the line.

Selling Toby, we will likely look to get a Milenkovic, Lacroix, Anderson type in terms of cost as his replacement.

Just to give some clarification on this, he was a name I was given over the last few days. Due to the nature of my source, I will naturally get info a lot later than some of the other very good ITK on here so often you will see me confirming whether reports on a player are true etc rather than throwing out names that aren't in the press yet. We are looking at several options at CB but Romero is someone Paratici has a lot of time for and we have held talks regarding him. As has been mentioned, Sanchez is available this summer and is being touted as an option in some of these deals. To summarise, nothing groundbreaking but this guy is a serious option and what's more, he would actually join us.

To confirm what I mentioned last week again, Paratici is impressing behind the scenes. He IS being given the freedom to run the footballing side of the club but of course DL naturally is being kept in the loop regarding finances. Paratici has an unreal set of contacts and he apparently really doesn't stop working. I think we will start to see some incomings and outgoings over the next 7-10 days ?.

Also, a very good friend of mine has a very good chance of landing a job at the club and if he accepts, he will be the closest contact I have and I may then get info earlier. I've been pestering him everyday to accept.

Thank you. Really clear and helpful.

You're a legend H88, thanks as always for the insight and info even if it is a little late (your words not mine don't hate me. ❤)

Everyone currently under offer for a job at Spurs about to get an updated “no leaks to Hotspur88” clause in their contract...

Thanks for the info!

See this is the problem with following spurs internet.

Never seen or heard of this fella until a few weeks ago and now I'm convinced it's a disaster if we don't sign him as he is clearly as good as Bobby Moore and Franco baresi combined.

Cant say I've seen too much of him but we dont really have much access these days to Italian footy in UK.

Hopefully Sanchez can be included as rumoured.
Couple Colombian players there already, CL football, situated near Milan. Wouldn't be a hard sell for the player.

This is why I was giving Paratici the transfer windows and not just writing him off with the managerial hunt. He seems to have a finger on a lot of pulses. If he can do with the financial restraints at the moment Levy may have found a miracle. Let's hope it comes through and we get a few of these lads.

My concern is over wages. Atalanta don't pay massive wages, so Dao may be out of their price range.
