Concern now is that this doesn’t become a mental thing. If we are playing every game nervous we may loose it in the dying minutes could really fuck us.

I’m not jumping on the Winks bashing but why did he come on and become the base of the three. Tactically makes no sense.
He’s absolutely fucking abysmal in that role. I cannot even begin to understand why both Pochettino and Mourinho have played him there. Has no positional sense whatsoever.

Is that the most embarrassing thing we’ve done in a prem game?

I remember the Man City cup game where we actually lost 4-3 to ten men after being 3-0 up, but I can’t remember blowing a lead like that to a team as shit as West Ham in the league before.

That result was dreadful, 82 minutes played and 3 up. Its honestly unacceptable.

Jose needs to really make some big calls after this result. Certain players need to be dropped. We should have put the game to bed, but to concede like that is dreadful.

Whilst the subs killed of momentum at 3-0 up you cannot blame Jose for wanting to rest Tanguy and Son.
Good trainers in training are nothing, I hope Mourinho can realise that sooner than later. Sanchez and Winks are never the street smart kind of players to be reactive to situations in matches.

Look this seems pretty crushing but it's just a freak result caused by a mixture of complacency, tiredness and a very determined opposition. José will learn from this. It won't happen again. Shame though, we've thrown away 4 points at home against Newcastle and West Ham. Gotta sort out the home form.
It's not a freak result we have been doing this type of shit for years, it's why we don't win anything too inconsistent.

midfield lost control after Winks came on for Ndombele, it actually reminded me of Everton again. Don’t think he can play alongside Sissoko.

Sanchez just doesn’t seem comfortable on the left side of the defense. Also those late Aurier fouls always kill me. Rough to watch.
Agree with all these things.

The seed was sown after our third goal. We bet them they couldn't score three in 75 minutes and lost.

And Winks. Ffs mate when you're a goal in front with 2 secs on the clock and you get the ball on the edge of your own box, PUT YOUR FUCKIN FOOT THROUGH IT!

We simply can not defend those type of free kicks yet, we constantly give them away.

It's always dumb free kicks as well.

Yeah, it reeks of that time when Arsenal bottled a 4-0 lead to Newcastle. We're gonna hear about this for a long time.

I don’t understand how we revert to ten men behind the ball and letting the opposition attack just when we are three up and totally dominating the game. W Ham just grew and grew in confidence as we put ourselves under pressure

what you’ve said is literally the opposite of “freak”. We did it to ourselves.
