Thank goodness we upgraded all those problem positions. The difference is chalk and cheese.
Harry Winks.Daughter's birthday today, so I wasn't watching.
I checked at half time. Flying. Checked at 80 minutes, still 3-0 but Harry had just hit the post and we were apparently coasting.
What the fudging fudge happened?!! ?
He’s absolutely fucking abysmal in that role. I cannot even begin to understand why both Pochettino and Mourinho have played him there. Has no positional sense whatsoever.I’m not jumping on the Winks bashing but why did he come on and become the base of the three. Tactically makes no sense.
Good trainers in training are nothing, I hope Mourinho can realise that sooner than later. Sanchez and Winks are never the street smart kind of players to be reactive to situations in matches. That result was dreadful, 82 minutes played and 3 up. Its honestly unacceptable.
Jose needs to really make some big calls after this result. Certain players need to be dropped. We should have put the game to bed, but to concede like that is dreadful.
Whilst the subs killed of momentum at 3-0 up you cannot blame Jose for wanting to rest Tanguy and Son.
It's not a freak result we have been doing this type of shit for years, it's why we don't win anything too inconsistent.Look this seems pretty crushing but it's just a freak result caused by a mixture of complacency, tiredness and a very determined opposition. José will learn from this. It won't happen again. Shame though, we've thrown away 4 points at home against Newcastle and West Ham. Gotta sort out the home form.
We upgraded them but never took the options away from the manager.Thank goodness we upgraded all those problem positions. The difference is chalk and cheese.
Agree with all these things.midfield lost control after Winks came on for Ndombele, it actually reminded me of Everton again. Don’t think he can play alongside Sissoko.
Sanchez just doesn’t seem comfortable on the left side of the defense. Also those late Aurier fouls always kill me. Rough to watch.
We were 3-0 up at home in the 81st minute and they'd subbed their biggest goal threat off 5 minutes earlier.Get a grip, West Ham were decent.

Yeah, it reeks of that time when Arsenal bottled a 4-0 lead to Newcastle. We're gonna hear about this for a long time.Is that the most embarrassing thing we’ve done in a prem game?
I remember the Man City cup game where we actually lost 4-3 to ten men after being 3-0 up, but I can’t remember blowing a lead like that to a team as shit as West Ham in the league before.
