We need to work out how to maximise this rule. Getting it into the box and slamming against defenders is realistically a much higher percentage way of scoring than actually bothering to create chances.
That’s your view...mine is not in a month of sundays is that a free kick to them..hojberg stood his ground and joelinton launched himself at him...laughable decisionI’m still angry about so many of those calls today. Especially some of our shouts that were completely glossed over. We definitely got robbed, but I think people are barking up the wrong tree on this one. Hojbjerg just fixes his eyes straight on him and leans his shoulder into him a little bit. Even though their player played for it a bit, those are called more often than not.

You think someone launching themselves at a stationary player like a fucking torpedo should be given a free kick for their trouble?Sorry, I actually think thats a free kick. We got robbed on all the other big calls and most of the 50/50 fouls during the game though.

have to agree to disagree on that one
There was only one way for it to go. Joelinton jumped into Hojbjerg. How they got the free kick is beyond me.It’s probably one of them that could of gone either way. He played for it a bit maybe, but I think Hojbjerg does look to block him off going by his body shape and how he fixes his eyes on him. those get called more often than not and Hojbjerg didn’t complain about the free kick at all. I personally thought there were half a dozen other calls that were way worse.
Thinking of @MK Yid at this difficult time.
To be fair he's warned us about this rule change over and over. It's just a clusterfuck now.

Rarely been so angry but it’s not a VAR fault it’s the disgraceful referees and new handball rules
ref for the original free kick decision
New laws for the shocking lack of any common sense or in game knowledge
I’m still baffled by how we weren’t given a penalty for a much more obvious handball in the second half. I’m generally sceptical about conspiracy theories but today felt overwhelmingly unjustso I take it your pretty happy today then
you can see the Newcastle player jumps into Hojbjerg,I’m still angry about so many of those calls today. Especially some of our shouts that were completely glossed over.
