What is it with Romanos 'Here We Go' - why does he keep singing chemical brothers

It's just his 'catchphrase' to signify a deal being done, I personally don't see the issue others have with it.

Gareth Bale, he went to Spain
Now he's back, at White Hart Lane
He loves golf, he hates Madrid
The thing he loves most is being a Yid

Can't wait to see him back, what a day :joyful:

I am sure there will be an opportunity to extend for another year. There’s no way he’s going back to Real Madrid

I don't know how it's ended up as the length of contract was one of the biggest points of negotiation. Last I heard it was a rolling 1 year loan until end of contract.
Think i drunkenly posted something similar last night and tagged you.

thought there were a few obligations when we hit jan, like have to pay for second year at agreed amount if a certain number of games played. Can't remember if obligated to buy or have option on 2nd year loan at that point. shouldn't really have been looking at it in the first place. and i think the loan amount (whether one year or two) changes quite a lot depending on no.games played.

Think that's about right.

What is the difference between that or straight two years or even one year with an extension option in our favour?
Well it means if it doesn't work out or there is a career ending injury, we don't have to pay a second season of wages we can't afford for a player not playing for us. Or increased % of wages if CL qualification etc.

Might not have ended up like that, but that was what it was.

Since when has the asking of questions to our ITK's been encouraged?

Answers should contain the single word 'never' anything else isn't required.

Weren't Madrid pushing for a permanent deal and we pushed for the loan? Think DL wants to check the goods first :)

I suspect it is a loan simply because a loan is perhaps quicker to sort out than agreeing a fee etc. Thats what I suspect but I dont know the intricacies

I imagine if we get a striker it’ll be a cheaper one and our pecking order in terms of our attack (in cases of Kane being unavailable) will look like:

  1. Son Kane Bale
  2. Son Bale Lucas/ Bergwijn Son Bale
  3. Bergwijn Bale Lucas/ Bergwijn Son Lucas
  4. Bergwijn NewCF Lucas
If we weren’t getting Bale, then a striker who’d play with Kane a lot would be quite feasible, but I think we’re probably looking at a generic big break glass in case of emergency lump now, which is fine given that Bale and Son are probably better down the middle than 9/10 career centre forwards in the league anyway.
If you are right, that's depressing.
