I can't see both going forward too often. I think when 1 goes forward the other stays back, It would be great to have the threat from both sides though. We've clearly missed the Rose and Walker of old.

Genuinely think you are right. Our stock is still relatively high right now, another bad season and might not be so much.
Spend a decent amount now and hopefully make CL and cover the outlay, miss out again and you are probably losing Kane anyway for big money.
We can probably attract a higher quality of player right now, would be great if we could get a quality backup st too.
Yeah they will, that’s what the holberg (so) will do, a lot in and cover as a back 3, along with box to box midfielder, could give us two flying full backs

We would have to get control of possession first and press higher up the pitch. I think Jose sticks with his principles of keeping players back, absorbing pressure and controlled counter attacks. Would absolutely love to get on the offensive in that way though.

This signing would also boost our existing squad, especially the attacking players as we’ll have outlets on both flanks. It must be so difficult to play knowing you can’t play the ball to the left as Davies will be nowhere to be seen. Whether we play 433 or wing backs, get these signings over the line and we’ll be similar to City in a sense that we can attack from anywhere. It will be Spurs of 3-4 years ago and now more 1 dimensional, predictable and easy to play against.
Another bonus of having 2 attacking full backs is say we sign Bale and he’s unavailable... we’ll still be a threat on both wings. Whereas if we signed Bale and Davies was 1st choice we would still be lop sided and one dimensional again if he was out of the side.

I’d normally agree with you, but seeing the snippets of his discussions in the documentary, makes me feel that it’s more down to the players in capability rather than mourinho’s vision so to speak.
We can always hope though ?

Agreed. Sick and tired of seeing Davies burnt for pace and unable to overlap effectively. Reguillon will be a fantastic addition.
