So this is what, the 6th striker that has been confirmed by itk that we’re looking at? We need to stop this scatter gun approach! Something doesn’t seem right with our recruitment on many fronts at all. Levy has a lot of work to do in the next few weeks to get us ready for a top 4 push this season because it’s not looking good right now

It gets worse... there’s reports on the internet that we’ve been given the green light by Sociedad to sign Willian Jose... for fuck sake it’s one car crash player after another at the mo.

After they spanked us, I kept reading how Liepzig were a good benchmark and we should look into their scouting as they keep churning out decent players we desire and would have to pay through the nose for.

Now we're linked to players theyre after, we're turning our noses up and throwing toys out of the pram cos theyre not good enough!

We can always rely on Spurs fans to be fickle! Lol

The only Norwegian talent I would like us to invest in would be Patrik Berg or Jens Petter Hauge, and I am very doubtful if either of them could have the same success at this level, but Berg has a touch of Pirlo in him and Hauge has blistering pace and a pretty confident finish for a winger, and the last guy in Norway that had a pretty competent finish turned out to be a pretty big deal and I never recommended him for the same reason...

I think people need to chill, just because we've engaged with dialogue with them, it doesn't mean we're going to try and sign him.

I can only judge on what I saw from him at Palace and he was average.

We need someone who can push Harry and come in when Harry needs a break. On what I have seen, its not Sorloth.

I think the frustration is at the awful recruitment. We’ve essentially known since January under Jose and even longer before that we needed a striker and this whole list of 5 or now 6 with Sorloth?! The recruitment and decisions being made are honestly a joke. We should really identify 3 players and and have got it done by now...

Profilic to be fair

can't say he lit up the league when he was at palace, but even if he did come here and was lethal, he still wouldnt score many goals - solely down to the amount of chances we dont create! think yesterday proved we are CRYING out for a creative midfielder!

Not against this if it means we can strengthen the first team in other area's.

Theres still players out there that could be massive upgrades on what we have.

The Glimt v Milan matchup in Europa, assuming they both win this midweek, will be massive shop windows for both Berg and Hauge. Can see a lot of clubs in all sorts of leagues making moves for them if they shine in that game.

This. Fortunately reports originated in the Express unless I’m mistaken.

Edit: just seen the itk thread. Oh fuck.

I hear you but engaging in dialogue means that you are interested in the player and when you consider the time we have had and the calibre of player we are not showing interest in or not moving for it is a little worrying

Our transfer committee are complete embarrassment if this is the best player they can come up with! The list of strikers we have been linked with is throughly depressing. None of these deals strike me as deals a club with any supposed ambition to reach the top 4 or challenge for trophies would be making. It’s more of a club trying to do things on the cheap.

Dunno, he can look quite the menace with space to run into, but we're basically a team that creates about ten shots per game. And we just have to hope they fall to Kane or Son. Sørloth coming into this shitshow of an attack is recipe for failure, and it wont even be saying anything about his relative quality as a player.

Who should we be signing?

Last week or two ago SC wanted to target players who RB Leipzig wants because they have good scouting but now it's embarrassing ?

He wouldn't be cheaper than Milik etc
