Also, Winks is worried about this signing and what it means for his position. It’s a possibility he will be leaving

Sissoko is the one who should be worried .. Not winks.. And we need two players for each position... Hojberg wont be playing 60+ games next season ... Winks is versatile so he can play as number 8 as well ...plus winks is homegrown. We are already short on that front

We need him for his HG status, I think. Not sure if Europa has different rules than CL for club trained players.

I’d personally be a little sad if he left because he was worried there was some competition for a position in the team. Though I hope it’ll all blow over and he stays.

I'd much rather sell Sissoko than Winks. Sissoko is older, not homegrown, and too technically limited for a role in CM in anything other than a counterattacking setup.

Wow. Maybe he feels Mourinho thinks his position is truly as the deepest midfielder and not slightly advanced of PEH, like some of us had suspected.

Yep, I can’t see him leaving on that basis. With Rose going, who are the club trained players? Tanganga, Kane and winksy and that’s it.

I'd be very surprised if Winks left unless Jose nudges him out the door. He's a Spurs lad and I can't imagine him not being up to the challenge of fighting for a place in the side and remaining at the club.

White and Cirkin have been promoted to the 1st team squad therefore we shouldn’t be impacted by losing a homegrown player?

Nether will need to be added to this year's squad.
Also, are we really saying Winks isn't good enough, but with out seeing these 2 youngster play much top level football they will be better squad players?

A midfield 3 of Hojbjerg alongside Lo Celso and an up for it Ndombele would be fantastic if possible. Stick a really reliable RB into the mix and our teams depth would start taking decent shape.
I like that, but I am not too optimistic with Ndombele anymore TBH.

Probably not a very popular opinion here, but if going with 433, a midfield trio of GLC, PEH and Dele may be one of the most balanced midfield we could have in recent years... Skill, speed, tenacity, technical abilities and a certain eye for passes to Kane from the early-days Dele. Is really tantalising. And all 3 are so young who still have a ceiling yet to be reached but possible going new heights under Mourinho.

I would sell them both. I love Sissoko’s energy but he’s technically inept and is prone to following the ball and leaving us exposed in the middle.

Winks bores me... it’s one thing having a defensive central midfielder who’s prime job is to win the ball back and another to have someone who can’t tackle, gives away stupid fouls in dangerous positions and is far too weak. Look at Modric and Lo Celso... they’re both small yet tenacious as hell and play progressive football.

The deadly duo of Winks and Sissoko is deadly but for the wrong reasons. It’s scary the amount of times we’ve looked like we’ve had no central midfield presence this season.

I want ITK's or any media rumor of us selling sissoko... but what I get is winks will be moving on, ndombele will be moving on etc etc ...

Even there is no false rumor in media about us selling sissoko ....How ironic is that?

I’ll probably get killed for this but I think Sissoko brings more on the pitch than Winks does.

But I totally understand the logic behind wanting to sell Sissoko over Winks.
