Palace would be a good fit imoThe first team to sack their manager in October
Us?The first team to sack their manager in October
West Ham is a very good shoutMy guess is he is appointed to one of Palace, West Ham or Newcastle during the upcoming season.
That's incredibly harsh. What Howe did was incredible at Bournemouth, I really don't think people understand the achievement that was. Bournemouth were a club with no right to be in PL to begin with, yet alone stay there the years they did.Never rated him as much as some seem to. Shame he never got the arsenal job when he was being touted, would've been a disaster IMO. Doesn't surprise me he's left, he looked like he was at his wits end for most of the second half of the season.
Incredible job to get and keep Bournemouth in the premier League, but not for spurs. Made 3 poor expensive signings: Ibe, Solanke and Billing. The core of his team are still the originals from the beginning. Unbelievable achievement though. That's incredibly harsh. The job he did was incredible, and he might be a hit in a big club, it's hard to know because he hasn't really been given the chance. His CV reads much better than Lampard and solskjaer who were a better clubs but failed to achieve anything close to what Howe did. But top team managers might not be so good at managing worse teams and visa versa. But he definitely deserves a chance.
In the end, they run out of steam and they made a few poor transfers. Some of their players are on higher wages then they should be, but their wage bill was in the end more or less in line with performance. But 5 consecutive seasons in the top flight, including a 9th place finish, considering when how took over they were in a relegation scrap at the bottom of league 2, 17 points from safety, Howe turned that club around and in 5 seasons (taking out his 1 and a half year holiday at Burnley) he got them into the PL, and another five there.
The guy should be incredibly rated, though there are doubts whether he would work well in a top level club, because he is most probably the best football league manager in his generation, while also being able to do something pretty special in the top flight as well. The guy deserves a lot of respect, because he basically did that thing where you take your local club in football manager and take them to the PL, but, like for real.
Moyes hasn't lasted for an entire calendar year at a club since his Everton stint ended in 2013. If history repeats itself, he'll be gone by December 29th.Don’t think West Ham will sack Moyes unless they start really badly
The thing is none of those players were for over 20 mill, and that's the thing. they are expensive for Bournemouth but not for most teams.Incredible job to get and keep Bournemouth in the premier League, but not for spurs.
