Well, the prematch poll doesn’t make for confident reading, over two thirds expecting to lose, and almost 56% think we’ll not even score as we lose.

So, all happy with the line-up? Great, me too.

Today I shall be mostly drinking cans of Stella in preparation for the Mood I’ll need to be in to watch this match.

On a plus note, sports direct have a big sale on Spurs kit today as it’s NLD, so sorted me and my boy out.

I'm particularly looking forward to Sissoko's surgical through balls, Aurier's laser guided crossing and Lucas's innate footballing genius decision-making. It's definitely going to be the difference for us today, mark my words :woot:

The worrying thing is the midfield - do we miss Ericksen they need to commit forward and because none of them can really defend we are so vulnerable on the counter in fact we have a midfield that in the last few games have achieved the almost impossible of not affecting the game either defensively or going forward.

At this point the meltdown proceedings
the line up is by far the most entertaining part of match day. The only thing to look forward to now is 90 mins of something vaguely resembling football. I'm super pumped.

Things were worse under Christian Gross apparently :shifty:

To be honest if you're not starting Ndombele (and Jose has made that clear) then this is about as good a line up as we have bar Lucas for Bergwijn.

COYS!
Wasn't Gross supposed to have been recommended by David Dein?

I see Tanganga is on the bench. I was under the impression he had a series injury that was going to keep him out until next season. Does anyone know the real story?

This is the thing people keep saying it’s not Jose’s fault how we are playing...It’s the players. Which to a degree it is the players.. however Jose keeps picking the same under performing Players game in game out steadfastly refusing to give other players a run in the team.

agreed but he hasn't a whole load of options.

That said I would never start with Lucas - love you for Amsterdam but has barely had a decent game since
