TEAM FORM:----- Spurs DWLWD ------- Arsenal WWWWD ----
(All Competitions)

Arsenal have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 EPL away games against us (W1 D3 L6). A 1-0 victory in March 2014. They are unbeaten away from home in London Derbies so this season (W1 D2) - they last remained unbeaten in all of their away London derbies in a single Premier League (PL) season back in 24-05.

The Nomads are looking to win 3 consecutive PL away games for the first time since October 2018, while they last won 3 in a row on the road without conceding back in 2013.

Aubameyang has been involved in 4 goals in his last 3 PL games against us (3 goals 1 assist). However, all of these goal involvements have been at the Library, with the Gabonese striker missing a last minute penalty in this exact fixture last term.

We are unbeaten in our last 5 home league games against the Gooners (W3 D2), with this the first ever meeting between the sides at our new home. We have dropped 42 points from winning positions in the PL games against them, more than any side has dropped against another in the competitions history.

We have won our last two home PL games, and are looking to win three in a row for the first time since 2019 - this is in our first three PL at our new stadium.

Both Mourinho and Arteta are taking charge of their first ever North London Derby matches. The last meeting between the side that was the first such match for both managers was in September 1986 when George Graham and David Pleat played out a 0-0 draw at Highbury.

Jose has never lost a home game against the Gooners in his career, winning 5 and drawing 4 of his nine games - only versus Everton and Man Utd (both 10 games) has he faced more often at home without losing.

Kane has scored 10 goals against them for us - if he scores in this game he will be the outright top scorer in Spurs vs Arsenal fixture in history. 5 of his PL goals against them have been penalties - only Alan Shearer against Everton (7) has scored more from the spot against an opponent in the competition.

Ah, I didn't mean it like that, I feel everyone should vent and be able to do so - you create this thread every time we play for us all to moan, you should be able to have a go to! ?

Thank @Bulletspur (again - coming thick and fast)

Not sure if I am able to watch this one. Might end up with a heart attack or a smashed screen.

I deleted my opening post as I was correctly reminded by @Vinny_Sammways_left_peg that this is not thread for my Jose rants!

Anyway, if we play like have been for the past few games (despite winning against West Ham and Everton), I can see us being trounced by Arsenal. The only person I had any confidence to fight our cause based on his performance since the restart has gone and got himself banned for 4 games. Michael Oliver, LOL! :(

Can’t see anything other than a thrashing for us. We struggled to get out of our own half for 45 minutes against Bournemouth and created fuck all, haven’t got a chance against an average Arsenal team who are still playing better than us. Having David Luis in defence means you always have a chance but still doubt that Harry “static” Kane and the greedy bunch behind him will trouble the back four much.

Haven't felt as pessimistic about a nld for a long time. I keep saying I'll not watch but of course I will.

If this is another abject performance JM has massive problems.

I think we'll counter attack well though as we'll get more space so a 2-2 draw wouldn't surprise me.

I'm gonna do my best to miss it. I was fortunate enough to have to work late Thursday evening so missed Bournemouth bore draw. So glad I did.
Its the hope that kills you.

I don't think arsenal are a bad team at all, and Saka and Ceballos, as well as Aubameyang, of course, are very good. Obviously their defence is a bit shit, but I can't see us getting forward enough for this to be a problem for them. They are starting to get into a bit of form, whereas we are down in the dumps. Two years ago I would have expected us to win this, but right now, I can't see us getting anything, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lost by two or three.

Arsenal do put a run of passes together they have bought players who can pass and they are good at shooting.
So the best idea is to attack them.
Mourinho is looking for a point
So don't expect more than the players have already given him.
