Utter failure on the club and Jose not to be able to leverage the clear talent NDombele has. A damaging affect for attracting future talent
The failure is primarily Ndobmele's. He absolutely, 100% deserved to be dropped after the Burnley fiasco before the lockdown and if he hasn't proved he can be trusted to put in the necessary shift he doesn't belong in the team. It's a shame, but the only person who can fix it is the player himself.

Get some quick goals, put the game to bed and bring on subs as quickly as possible to ensure no-one who is going to be definitely needed as a starter for the NLD is unnecessarily injured or run into the ground as a result of having to stay on too long because we've fluffed or spurned chances, or we've sat back on a one or two goal lead.

Cue 2-0 down and down to 10 men after 3 minutes

Yep, look at Lo Celso... when Jose arrived we had ITK that he wasn't convinced by Gio. What happened? He got his head down, worked his arse off and earned himself a permanent move all within a few months. Since then he's continued to be our best player this season. What's Ndombele done? The square root of not a lot.

Can't believe Cirkin isn't in the starting 11 - I'd be looking to put a transfer request in before we even kick off.

Better balance in that team.

With Lamela, Lo Celso, Kane and Bergwijn there's more craft.

Better approach than Son, Lucas and Bergwijn.

At least if we need Son and Lucas can come on and stretch the defence

Shame it's only because Lucas and Son will be starting the NLD on Sunday.

Conversely, if you work hard and put in a shift in you'll play - which given that's what you'd want bottom line from any footballer, seems a given ...

Some of you are proper drama lama's.

Literally does jose watch Sissoko at all? So boring should be nowhere near the side
It's like some of you only watch what Spurs players do when on the ball. Given that between 40-50% of the match the other team have possession, you need to appreciate how bloody hard players like Sissoko work for the team in covering ground to block passes, chase, make tackles/interceptions etc. So yes - I think Jose does watch Sissoko and sees him give 100% to the team.

As I said the other day, I think it's pretty clear that it goes beyond football matches (individual performances, how the team is doing, results, etc) with Ndombele, at the moment they are irrelevant really. To my mind they want to see him approach life 24/7 as a footballer - whether that's his fitness, diet, application and attitude day in day out - in a more professional, disciplined, focused manner before he gets meaningful minutes on the pitch because that seems to be where the problem lies. He isn't banished so you assume there is a way back for him but he's got to work hard for it, and not just for a few days in training, and prove he wants it and has the dedication to be a top level professional.

Don't get how that's hard for people to see tbh.
