Not sure why people could have excuses after excuses for Kane when he played poorly really.

Compare apple to apple, Kane had no impact at all in the first 20 minutes compared to Pogba.

Seen too many games the past 2 years where he looks like he's running in sand.
Exactly - this critique of Harry isn't exclusive to this game tonight and I think it's perfectly legitimate to begin questioning the merits of his long term future here vs heavily reinvesting in a squad yearning for upheaval.

Different players different positions and style of play. Kane in big games under Jose won’t get many chances

We've all had to defend Kane from unjust criticism for so long and loved his love of Spurs so dearly that it's built into our very blood and it's hard for many of us to be honest in reviewing him at all. We all want to be wrong about him and want him to make one last comeback and be the player he was but every day that reality seems to get a little bit darker.

But we have already seen this poor Kane even when Poch was in reign. Mourinho wasn't the problem that Kane is having this problem and I really hope people can stop putting the blame on him (like for many problems we've seen in fact) when Kane is his own culprit.

Yea his form has dipped a bit BUT I’d say for 3 reasons:
1) we have regressed as a team in an attacking sense in the last few years, no walker no peak rose, no dembele breaking lines, no erisken key creative player
2) Joseball has little of the ball so he’ll get very few chances that must be frustrating, you put Kane In Man City’s team or Liverpool’s or Chelsea’s or Leicester’s Or man.u’s at the moment he’ll be banging in goals
3) he’s knackered as he’s been our only fucking proper decent striker option for years so he’s burntout

I don't know why we can't just take the approach of easing him back in to the starting 11 like every other club does with their players.

After every single injury lay off it takes him a few games to hit his stride again, but always comes good. I don't think this time will be any different.

I'd like to see a front three of Bergwijn - Son - Lucas against West Ham, and have Kane come on with 30 to go to chase a goal if we're losing/drawing, or hold up play if we're winning.

Should be eased back in. We are killing the other players to make up for him not being fit.

Some of the play today was like watching a Sunday league game, quite a few players looked bang average and they were fully fit prior to suspension.
Don’t think anyone can read anything into Kane’s performance tonight given how long he was out for.

Our manager won’t do that he wants a big man up top at all times lest we have to pass it too much
