We couldn’t have asked for a more difficult game to start. But get a good result and we will be confident for the rest of the season. I just hope the rest has done us some good and given Jose a chance to get his style and tactics across. Because I couldn’t stand watching us play such turgid football before the break. I’m hopeful rather than confident.

Press conference from 1. Should hopefully get an injury update.
Let me take a stab at the injury update: Kane, Son and Lo Celso have picked up a knock and are doubtful. Bergwijn has as well and will be a decision for tomorrow.

From Jose: Lo Celso likely out. Tanganga is out. Jan is training but hasnt signed on for the rest of the season. Kane, Son and Sissoko will start tomorrow.

It’s pretty good news on Lo Celso generally. He was injured, he’s just back in training and a bit behind the rest of the squad. All in all, pretty good.

So we would've also had no GLC all this time if the season hadn't stopped. Not being funny but if coronavirus hadn't happened we could've been looking at one of the worst runs in our history.

With a Sissoko and Winks midfield likely confirmed, so to is a liquor store run for a good bourbon as theres no way i can survive another game with that midfield without hard liquor

Mourinho would quite possibly have been sacked by now. A bottom-half finish would've been difficult for Levy to tolerate.

Probably more of a choice between Ndombele and Lamela for the last spot in the side behind Kane.

He could play Lamela higher up. In fact given the massive lack of creativity in the side he should do, and play Kane Son and Lamela. But he's picked Lucas for pretty much every game since he joined and I don't see him stopping now.

Let's not forget, all Prem teams are well behind match fitness. It's almost a level playing field. Working in the gym is not the same as full on outdoor training – of which there hasn't been a lot for any of the players. So United won't be 'at it', the first few games will likely be cautious.

I want the Banana Splits tune every time someone dives.

Love the idea but it may take too long. How about the sound of a 3 meter springboard?

With regards to the Banana Splits, if you can't get the rights to it, just play Bob Marley's Buffalo Solder which "borrows" the main riff from the them song (go ahead, youtube it).
