Carvani lots of injuries recently?
Just give him an MOT & he will be fine.......................

If there is no one available of suffucient quality then why are the board to blame?
Classic ENIC/Levy here folks. Not one bit surprised.
Gards is always extremely emotional with his tweets

Its an endless cycle of papering over the cracks, not addressing deep lying issues, etc. It'll be the exact same in the summer where maybe we make 3 good signings but really needed 5 or something like that. Its never been enough to a. keep the level we were at and now b. get back to the level we were at.Yep, they approach the world as it ought to be, not as it is. If Kane hadn't been injured this would have been a good window, with Bergwijn coming in unexpectedly.
But he is injured - not least because we run him into the ground for lack of rotational alternatives. That is the reality and that is the need they have to address in this window. But no, we're still farting around like we have all the time in the world and can afford to be extremely picky.
So if the curtain drops tomorrow night without us having signed a Kane replacement, Levy will have failed us. Indeed: Classic ENIC/Levy.
Can it be that hard to get a better striker than Lucas Moura? We’re not looking to upgrade on Kane ffsIf there is no one available of suffucient quality then why are the board to blame?
Chelsea wants a legitimate starting striker, not going to move in January and have actual backups they can play. United are a fucking mess and still brought in a player who would possibly fill their biggest need.I can't defend them for missed opportunities of yesteryear, but...
There are quite a few prem teams this window that are in need of a striker as a result of injuries.
United and Chelsea have equally struggled to secure a temporary fix.
Anyone really good will cost a packet, and those left are being overvalued. Giroud seems a reasonable price, but Chelsea might not deal.
Piatek overvalued.
Willian Jose...third party issues ??
Lampard said Chelsea need a striker the other day, they've struggled to secure and they got dollar.
I'll be disappointed if we don’t snaffle a striker, but will also remind myself that we've secured some pretty good talent this window. Add to this some decent loans out for some of the lads, moving on those who wish to be elsewhere, then all in all, far from worthy of a Levy/Enic bash.
SSN...linking us to Holjberg as I write.

What do Chelsea & United have to do with us consistently not doing enough in the transfer market?Legitimate starting striker.
They were linked to both Piatek and Cavani
Two players some siugest we should've signed as back up for Kane.
They haven't signed either.
As for United. They might have filled a hole, but you fail to add how they vastly overpaid which is what I alluded to in my first post.
Richarlison €100 million bid from Barcelona. They failed to get their man.
I’m referring to the notion that “there is no one available of sufficient quality”, falling back on that as a reason for not securing a Striker this window is just poor.
The situation in the Summer will just be worse for the board because they will have to stump up even more money for someone of ‘sufficient quality’ to just sit on the bench (which I doubt they will)
their are people of sufficient quality, just we dont have the cash or not willing to spend

Piatek was there for the taking, Willian Jose seemingly there for the taking, Paco Alcacer there for the taking, anyone else I'm missing? All would have been perfectly acceptable backups at reasonable prices.
People have been available, just not at the price the board are prepared to pay.

I actually don’t believe finishing outside the top 4 the once will be that damaging.
