All the journalists that cover us (and have things correct recently) are saying we are unlikely to bring a striker in now. Got to say I'm very disappointed.

It’s a joke, but I’m sure it will be excused or glossed over somehow. Still time though.

We heard it was either Piatek or Jose, with a back up in place (Weghorst) yet when one goes tits up they all go tits up. Looks like we pissed about way to long with Piatek and it’s bitten us in the arse once again. It’s the end of the window and teams are desperate to sign players yet we once again played the waiting game with Milan and surprise surprise ended up with egg on our face.

Well we will just have to adapt, Jose is considered one of the best when it comes to tactical acumen so let's see because although yes to play his main set up he wants a target man, he should have the ability to adapt with the quality of players we have in those front positions. We have done so in the past.

Where did Weghorst come from? Not sure we were in for him. We might still get this guy but I wouldn't be surprised if we got nobody. May well fuck our season though.

Don't think we did anything of the sort. Milan wanted us to shell out 30m or whatever on Piatek but we only wanted a loan. They waited til Hertha came in with an offer to buy. I can see why we wouldn't want to risk a full purchase on Piatek.

Not sure how the club could try and spin it as anything but a failure if they don't sign a target man. It's bloody obvious Mourinho wanted one and Bergwijn is no more a striker than Son or Moura.

Didn't expect Jose to be a 'yes man'.

Yet read Gards update (Twitter) from a minute ago and as it stands we’re not bringing in a striker. Now tell me we haven’t fucked up once again.
