I was under the impression he wanted to leave to give him a better chance of more regular football so he could foot the next World Cup. Not sure how backup to Kane will help there.

Either way I’d take him for cheap. Good experienced player.

He seemed to always good with his head and a perfect player to bring in 10 minutes from the end
Just tell him the opposition is Tottenham

Trying to buy a player from Chelsea is only going to end in tears. No doubt we'll blame them when they pull the plug at 10.55 and we have to draft in Llorente.

The fact that Kane probably won't play again this season is a big help!

The amount of people who'd take Llorente back is fucking alarming. Hope no one at the club is in agreement.

Who is familiar with his situation? Are Chelsea trying to sell him because he's not signed a new deal or have they not offered him one? If he's not good enough for them anymore, I can't see why he'd be good enough for us.

He'd be my second to last choice (above Benteke), but we NEED a striker. Even if he can't move, we absolutely need someone.

do not want Llorente back but I do absolutely not want an over the hill 33 years old Giroud either. He has played for the two clubs i hate the most.

I'm sure we'd take Tammy Abraham and Batshuayi over him every day of the week though. If Mourinho wants to employ a true number 9 then we've got precisely no one.

I'm not overly keen either, think he's a bit past it like you say but no comparison between him and Llorente.

I think it's unfair to be too critical of Llorente. He did his job. But was given for the most time 10 minutes at the end of games.
Llorente was great with his head but we has inverted wingers so what was the point.
I thought he was a good loyal player that we could have given more minutes too. The fans generally liked him. He had talent we just needed to play to him a little using his height and head etc.
Gilzean was a tremendous help to Greanes success at Tottenham with constant knock downs etc. Llorente could have done the same but Poch was very narrow in his thinking
